Adelia Khrisna Putri adalah Dosen di Fakultas Psikologi, Universitas Gadjah Mada, dengan fokus kajian pada kesehatan mental, kedukaan, serta pencegahan bunuh diri, dan penanganan pasca kehilangan akibat bunuh diri. Ia meraih gelar PhD dari The University of Melbourne dengan disertasi “Exploring Self-Healing in Suicide Bereavement: Lived Experiences and Postvention Resource Development in the Indonesian Context”, yang menelaah pengalaman hidup penyintas kehilangan akibat bunuh diri di Indonesia. Penelitian tersebut melahirkan Healing After Loss, buklet sumber daya pertama untuk penyintas kehilangan akibat bunuh diri di Indonesia yang dirancang bersama penyintas, tenaga ahli professional, dan pemuka agama. Sebelumnya ia menyelesaikan MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences di University College London, serta menempuh pendidikan sarjana di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Melalui pendekatan partisipatoris berbasis komunitas, ia berupaya menerjemahkan pengalaman hidup penyintas menjadi sumber daya yang relevan bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Ia aktif dalam Center for Public Mental Health serta Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology, dan mengajar dengan basis keilmuan psikologi klinis dan psikologi sosial.
