The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) carried out an aptitude assessment and counseling program for Grade XI students of SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang. This activity aimed to obtain an overview of students’ interests and potential talents as a foundation for personal development and future educational planning.

The program was conducted through collaboration among three units under the Faculty: the Human Quality Development Unit (UPKM), the Psychological Diagnostic Tools Development Unit (UPAP), and the Psychological Consultation Unit (UKP). The assessment was administered offline using a Computer-Based Test (CBT) system, supported by a team of psychologists and facilitators to ensure that the process was structured and in accordance with procedures.

The main activity took place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, and was divided into two sessions:

Session 1: 07:30–12:30 WIB
Session 2: 13:30–15:55 WIB

Out of 297 registered students, 274 participated in the assessment. Meanwhile, 23 students were excused due to other concurrent activities. A follow-up session for those unable to attend is scheduled for the following week.

The test results will undergo scoring and initial data processing as part of both evaluation and further development of the aptitude assessment instruments used. The output of this activity will be a report intended to help students better understand their potential and plan their next educational steps, while also strengthening synergy among units within the Faculty of Psychology UGM in delivering educational psychological assessment services.
