The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a series of workshops on completing the UI GreenMetric (UIGM) and THE Impact Ranking assessment forms as part of the 2026 UGM Sustainability Campus Action (SCA) Program. The activities comprised four form-completion workshops and two review sessions with the UGM University Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (SPMRU), held in Room A-121 from May to August 2026.

UGM launched the 2026 SCA Program on March 3, 2026, to support data preparation for the UIGM, THE Impact Ranking, and QS Sustainability rankings. At the UGM Faculty of Psychology, the activities involved the faculty’s SCA Team.

The UIGM form-completion workshops were held on May 21 and June 5, 2026, followed by a review session on June 3, 2026. Meanwhile, the THE Impact Ranking form-completion workshops took place on July 8 and 22, 2026, with a review session held on August 26, 2026.

During the UIGM form review, the team discussed the completeness of supporting data on facility layouts, energy use, water and waste management, courses and research related to sustainability, regular cultural activities, and partnerships. The team received recommendations to supplement the documentation with site plans, photographs showing facility conditions before and after changes, lists of research titles, and publications documenting collaborative activities. The Faculty of Psychology’s services for the university community and the general public, along with the expertise of its staff, were also proposed as key highlights in the report.

During the THE Impact Ranking form review, Ir. Sentagi Sesotya Utami, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., Coordinator of the University Reputation Division at UGM’s SPMRU, served as the reviewer. The discussion covered the completeness of entries for each indicator and the data sources used. Research data were planned to be retrieved from Scopus, while the team would remap faculty members who had received funding for activities supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Faculty members’ contributions as experts in policymaking were also among the aspects discussed.

Following the scheduled activities under the 2026 SCA Program, completion of the THE Impact Ranking form continued until October 15, 2026. The UGM Faculty of Psychology was scheduled to present its sustainability data and submit its final report on October 30, 2026, ahead of the THE Impact Ranking data submission deadline on November 10, 2026.

Annisa Rizki Rahardiyanti, S.T., Coordinator of the Facilities and Infrastructure Division of the UGM Faculty of Psychology Sustainability Form Preparation Team, highlighted the benefits of the activities for the team.

“ The workshops helped us, as the team responsible for completing and preparing the forms, gain a more detailed understanding of the indicators specified in the forms and the requirements set by the university or the SPMRU team. This allows us to collect data that are more valid and credible,” she said when interviewed on Monday (October 12).

Veri Kristiningsih, S.S., M.Sc., Coordinator of the Secretariat and General Affairs Division of the UGM Faculty of Psychology Sustainability Form Preparation Team, expressed a similar view. She noted that the review sessions found the form entries to be comprehensive and well-prepared. She added that the activities also helped the team address challenges encountered during the process.

“The workshops helped the Preparation Team assess whether the forms had been completed correctly and receive feedback and guidance on the challenges and difficulties encountered,” she said.
