UGM Faculty of Psychology Welcomes 127 New Graduate Students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed 127 new graduate students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year through the New Student Academic Orientation (OAMABA), which began at Hall D of the Faculty of Psychology UGM on Monday (August 10). The opening and joint orientation session was attended by students from three study programs: 48 students from the Professional Psychology Education Program, 69 students from the Master’s Program in Psychology, and 10 students from the Doctoral Program in Psychology. read more

Faculty of Psychology UGM Equips Prospective Graduates with Strategies to Build Meaningful and Impactful Careers

Ahead of the Fourth Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), through its Career Center, equipped 10 prospective Master of Psychology graduates with strategies for building meaningful and impactful careers through a graduation preparation session held on Monday, July 20. Under the theme Designing Your Next Chapter: Building a Career with Purpose and Impact, the session featured Rahmayanti, S.Psi., M.A., Founder of RIG Consulting and a UGM Master of Psychology alumna. The participants were scheduled to attend the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, July 22.

Faculty of Psychology UGM Honors 12 Postgraduate Graduates in the Fourth Graduation Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year

The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), honored 12 postgraduate graduates on Wednesday, July 22, during the Fourth Graduation Period Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, held in Room A-203, Building A, Faculty of Psychology UGM. The graduates comprised 10 Master of Psychology graduates and two Doctor of Psychology graduates.

Faculty of Psychology UGM Melapprove 32 Psychologists and 24 Scientists

The Faculty of Psychology of Gadjah Mada University held a professional oath-taking event and the release of a graduate program on October 23, 2019.

The number of graduates of the professional Psychology Masters Program as much as 32 psychologists with details of 4 men and 28 women. The number of graduates from Master of Psychology as many as 24 scientists with details of 5 men and 19 women. Until now, the total graduate School of the Faculty of Psychology of Gadjah Mada University amounted to 2,889 people.

At the master of Professional Psychology Program, the highest cumulative achievement index was 3.82 by Rahmadhani Nur Isnaini as well as the title. In this period, there are 4 of the same-time, 24 graduates who are well-awarded and 4 satisfactory. The shortest 1 Year 10 month period of study achieved by Helena Widaningrum, Hentyn Drajad Rudyarwaty, and Inaulia Sekar Rarastiti.

Switching to the master of Psychology Program, the highest cumulative achievement index is 3.89 which was achieved by Aurelia Virgita Claudia. In this period, there were two of the top-level graduates, 20 of which were very satisfying, and two satisfactory graduates. For the shortest study period 1 year 5 months 6 days achieved by Rinanda Rizky Amalia Shaleha.

The Faculty of Psychology awarded Dian Fakhrunnisak as a graduate with the best thesis publication. Dian conducts research on “The Study of Longitudinal Effects of Education of The Elderly to Children’s Mental Health” under the guidance of Dr. RER. Pol. Bhina Patria, M.A., while Cheryl Jocelyn Liow’s thesis was titled “AJT Cognitive Test as an Early Identification Tool of Dyslexia: Ages 5 To 7 Years” tutoring Dr. Wisjnu Martani, S.U., Psychologist.

Faculty of Psychology UGM Yielded 13 Psychologists and 9 Scientists

The Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University organized a profession oath and release of Graduate School program on 24 July 2019. A number of graduates from the master Psychology Program as many as 13 psychologists with details of 2 men and 11 women. A number of graduates from Master of psychology as many as 9 scientists with details of 3 men and 6 women. Recently, the total graduate School of the Faculty of Psychology of Gadjah Mada University amounted to 2,833 people.

In the Magister Program of Professional Psychology, the Grade Point Average was 3.91 by Diah Deir Zahrani. In this period, there are 2 graduates of the Cumlaude predicate, 8 graduates are very satisfactory and 3 people are satisfied. The shortest 1 Year 9 month period of study was achieved by R. Brahma Aditya and Diah Deir Zahrani.

Switching to the Master of Psychology Program, the Grade Point Average is 3.83 which was achieved by Lavenda Geshica and the cumlaude. In this period, there are two of the most well-established, 4 graduates, who are very satisfied and 3 people. For the shortest study period of 1 year, 4 months was achieved by Eduardus Johanes Sahagun.

The Faculty of Psychology gave the award to Diah Deir Zahrani as a graduate with the best thesis publication script. Diah did his research on “Redefining Career Success in Agile Companies: A Psychophysical Approach” under the guidance of Galang Lufityanto, M. Psi, Ph.D. While Nazir Ultama’s thesis is “The role of psychological capital and emotional intelligence against emotional fatigue at Frontline employees”, the guidance of Bagus Riyono, Dr., M.A., Psychologist.
