Research Interests
Psychometrics, statistical literacy, applied statistics, modern test theory (Rasch model and Item Response Theory), standard-setting, educational research and evaluation.
Dr. Muhammad Dwirifqi Kharisma Putra, S.Psi., M.Si. completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in 2014. He subsequently completed his master’s degree in Psychometrics in the Master’s Program in Psychological Science at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in 2016, with a thesis entitled “The Effects of Sample Size and Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) on Parameter Estimation Bias in Multilevel Latent Variable Modeling: A Monte Carlo Simulation Study.”
In 2026, he completed his doctoral degree in Psychological Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada, with a dissertation entitled “Development of a Statistical Literacy Instrument and Standard-Setting for Undergraduate Psychology Students: A Study Based on the Rasch Model.”
He is currently active in research and book writing in the fields of psychometrics, as well as educational measurement and evaluation. To date, he has contributed to the authorship and publication of more than 40 scholarly works, including journal articles, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and other academic publications. He is also active as an editor for several national journals and as a reviewer for several international journals, including Current Psychology, Social Sciences & Humanities Open, and MethodsX..
