Proud news comes from the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Beginning April with positive momentum, Jurnal Psikologi UGM has officially been accepted into the APA PsycInfo index as of Thursday (09/04). APA PsycInfo is a prestigious bibliographic database managed by the American Psychological Association (APA). This achievement marks a major step forward in strengthening the journal’s position on the international stage.
The inclusion of Jurnal Psikologi UGM in the PsycNet indexing system indicates that the publication has met rigorous scientific quality standards. Its consistent peer-review process and the relevance of its published topics were considered aligned with global criteria. With this indexing, the journal’s credibility within the global psychology community has become stronger and professionally recognized.
One of the main benefits of this achievement is the increased visibility of the articles it publishes. Scientific works by researchers and academics featured in Jurnal Psikologi UGM will now be much easier for experts around the world to discover.
