On 28-30 March 2019, I Gusti Agung Dyah Cahyaninggrat, a student of the Faculty of Psychology UGM became a representative athlete of the city of Denpasar to compete in the event of Mayor Cup X 2019. This competition took place at Gor Lila Bhuana, Denpasar, Bali. This Event is held once a year by the Indonesian National Sports Committee (Koni) Denpasar.
The contest Mayor Cup X in this year differs from the previous years that only the junior category. Event Mayor Cup X this year is the benchmark for the senior selection that will take the championship in PORPROV in September 2019. Therefore, all regions in Bali Province send their representatives to participate in this championship.
“At first I was hesitant to follow this championship, because I did not feel all out at the time of rehearsals and incidentally when my weight exceeded the class I usually follow. But inevitably I have to go down as required. The category that I follow is the senior category for weight groups under 48 kg of princess, ” Dyah said.
Dyah was thankful that she was able to finish the match until it finished the finals to confront all the opponents in the class she was following.
