Even so, the research regards threshold personality disorder still very rarely committed in Indonesia. That matter becomes understanding about determinant threshold personality disorder still very limited, the effect of handling for people with threshold personality disorder becomes inappropriate.

Christin, Lecturer of Faculty of Psychology Katolik Soegijapranata University mentions childhood traumatic factor, attachment, proactive handling, and social support structurally become roles for emerging threshold personality. While research still continually developed because the subject was involved still in the limited environment or not yet compared to a different culture.
Therefore, in her opinion, still needed depth analyzing about determinant threshold personality. Because the views about threshold personality and researches that are committed all the time still refer to western culture, and not explain about the role of childhood traumatic yet, proactive handling, attachment, and social support to threshold personality.
“Therefore, necessary is committed research about determinant threshold personality, especially in central Java, because based on noted from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) 2015, Central Java province becomes a province with suicidal case and the most divorced-marriage, and these behaviors include to criteria of threshold personality, “in her opinion, while in open examination of Doctoral Program Psychology UGM with the title dissertation “ Determinant Threshold Personality.” (Public Relation UGM/ Agung)
