Friday (25/10) Faculty of Psychology UGM organized the opening of the XI Lustrum. The event began several series of activities at Lustrum’s celebration which will be held in January. The opening of Lustrum this time is different from previous years because it involves not only lecturers and educational professionals but also students who are involved both in planning and at the time of implementation of the event.
The event was initiated by a brief reception of Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A., and inaugurated the opening of the KE-XI Lustrum event. Continued with flash mob followed simultaneously by all lecturers and students from S1 to S3.
After the excitement of the flash mob, all participants are invited to enjoy various breakfast menus that have been provided. In the middle of the breakfast show, various performances from students, lecturers, and education personnel were presented, including singing, and theatrical performances. Various attractive door prizes are also distributed at the opening of Lustrum this time.
For students who want to convey a mistake are provided Counseling corners with Psychologists. At the Curhat corner, students can do counseling for free with a special place. There is also a place to write a mistake about things you want to tell without the need to write the author’s identity on the boards that have been provided around the location of the Curhat corner. In addition to the Curhat corner, there are also blood donation activities conducted at the same time.
In the daytime also held a career Seminar titled “Success career in NGOs and BUMN”. This event brought the speakers who are alumni of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, they are Tri Hutomo Pamungkas, S. Psi., M.M., Praditya Putri Pertiwi, S. Psi., and Dwi Wahyu Arif Nugroho, S. Psi., acting as a moderator is Rosalia Nugraheni, S. Psi. It is hoped that these seminars are able to inspire and motivate students, especially Psychology Students, to pursue careers in the professional sphere.
The opening of this lustrum received many positive responses, both from students to alumni who appreciate this activity is something fun and happy. “Thank you lustrum Psychology, this morning I am happy and very satiety”, said Osi Livia student Psychology UGM.
