Monday, (11/3) GROWTH (Group for Writing Thesis) held for students of the Psychology Master’s Study Program at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). This activity aims to encourage postgraduate students to write a thesis.
GROWTH was followed by 35 postgraduate students who are taking the 3rd semester of the lecture. 35 students were divided into 6 little groups. Similar to GROWTH was held before, GROWTH has a two schedule activity, such as training and writing group. Two agenda will be held on 14, 18, 21 and 25 March 2019. Learning Center was chosen as a place for holding this event.
Facilitator on GROWTH is Latifatul laili, S.Psi was helped by five persons co-facilitator Selvia Eka Sari, Siti Mahmudah, Lulu Sukma Wardhani, Yoshi Rionicha Dewi and Restu Vistasari. In his speech, Latifatul as a facilitator GROWTH program explained “This program held so student being comfortable on the thesis process. Because the writing process is so long, so students must have a strategy. If they not, it is will be tired.”
Bhina Patria, S.Psi., M.A., Dr.rer.pol. As a secretary study program of Magister Psychology also convey when opening GROWTH “this activity is applicated as a research results one year ago that this training can increase the productivity of writing thesis through group support.”
By being implemented GROWTH expected to help the student feel more enjoyable on the process of writing a thesis and persuading students to give positive encouragement to other students on the process of writing a thesis. (Public Relations of UGM/ Jehna)
