Saturday (23/3), Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) with Parent Association Students of the Faculty of Psychology UGM (POTMAPSI) held parent’s meeting of 2018 psychology students. This meeting was a routine agenda that held yearly for new student parent as a communication tool between Faculty of Psychology UGM with parent’s student. Most of 200 parent’s student held on this meeting in Auditorium G-100 Faculty of Psychology UGM. The event began at 8.30 AM with the opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A and ended around 2 PM after sharing the session with the supervisor. On parent’s student meeting also held a talk show with Dr. Sumaryono, M.Si as one of the Lecturer Faculty of Psychology UGM. He brings out talk show with the title “ boost potential Z generation”. Sumaryono emphasized existing challenge related to and also utilizing technology also important for establishing family value and for persuading every family to contribute to the realization of vision and mission of family. Sumaryono said that as one of the parenting model consistent with generation Z. Aside to talk show, in this opportunity student parents also get various information related to student activity and got information about step monitoring student activity their children through the application.
