Prof. Dr. Tina Afiatin, M.Si., Psikolog

Prof. Dr. Tina Afiatin, M.Si., a renowned expert in Psychology, has dedicated herself to the fields of education and psychological research. Prof. Tina pursued higher education at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), earning her bachelor’s degree in 1988 after researching the creative attitudes of adolescents in relation to their parents’ attitudes. She then obtained her M.Si degree in 1996 after studying the enhancement of adolescents’ self-confidence through group counseling. In 2003, she successfully defended his dissertation titled “The Influence of the ‘AJI’ Group Program on Enhancing Self-Esteem, Assertiveness, and Knowledge of Drugs for the Prevention of Substance Abuse in Adolescents.” Next, the title of Professor was awarded in 2013 with the speech titled “The Function of Mixed Methods in Family Psychology Research.”

Dr. Arum Febriani, S.Psi., M.A.

Dr. Arum Febriani, S.Psi., M.A., is a graduate of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) for Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, and completed his doctoral studies at Université Paris Descartes-Sorbonne Paris Cité, France, now serves as Head of the Psychology Master’s Study Program at UGM .

In her academic career, Dr. Arum has focused his studies on two main areas, namely Developmental Psychology and Social Relations. The international experience she gained while studying in France enriched her insight and scientific approach, especially in studying the dynamics of individual development throughout the life cycle and how social relations influence psychological well-being.

Pradytia Putri Pertiwi, S.Psi., Ph.D

Pradytia is a Lecturer in Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada. She is uniquely positioned as both an academic and a practitioner with over 15 years of experience in disability inclusion within disaster contexts. This dual perspective allows her to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing a comprehensive understanding of how sociocultural dynamics, social norms, values, and non-normative events like disasters influence human development. Grounded in both rigorous research and practical expertise, she emphasizes the transformative power of individual empowerment to drive broader community changes. Her research focuses on disability inclusion, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and qualitative methods, with her leadership in these areas recognized by being named one of Indonesia’s women leaders in DRR in 2023. Through her work, Pradytia aims to influence policies and practices that support the holistic development of inclusive societies.

Sutarimah Ampuni, S.Psi., M.Si., MPsych., Ph.D., Psikolog

Sutarimah Ampuni, S.Psi., M.Si., MPsych., Psychologist is an academic and psychologist currently working at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. (UGM). Ampuni’s academic journey began with earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (S.Psi) from UGM, with a thesis titled “The Influence of Illustrated Images on Understanding English Prose.” She then continued her professional psychology education at the same institution, completing her thesis titled “The Relationship Between Maternal Affective Expression and Children’s Social Competence.” Ampuni furthered her studies by obtaining a Master of Science (M.Si) degree in Psychology from UGM. Then, she broadened her international perspective by pursuing a Master of Psychology in Counseling Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. The peak of her education was achieved with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Psychology from La Trobe University, Australia.

Theresia Novi Poespita Candra, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog

Theresia Novi Poespita Candra, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, is a professional in the field of psychology with a strong and diverse educational background. She earned her Ph.D. from The University of Melbourne, Australia, marking the pinnacle of her academic journey in the field of psychology. Previously, Novi completed her master’s degree in psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia, which is also where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After finishing her undergraduate education, she continued by enrolling in the Professional Psychology Program at UGM to obtain a license as a professional psychologist.

Smita Dinakaramani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog

Smita Dinakaramani is a clinical psychologist and a young academic at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. (UGM). She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at UGM in 2017, then continued her studies in the Master’s Program in Professional Psychology at the same institution, which she finished in 2020. Smita obtained her Psychologist Practice License at the end of 2020, confirming her status as a professional psychologist.

Zahra Frida Intani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog

Zahra Frida Intani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog, is a psychologist who is currently active in the fields of education and research at Gadjah Mada University (UGM). With a strong educational background in the field of psychology, Zahra completed her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Psychology, UGM in 2017 with the research title The role of wisdom in subjective well-being in early adulthood, and continued her master’s studies in the field of Professional Psychology at the same university in 2017. 2020 after researching fathering training to improve the quality of parenting for fathers who have preschool-aged children.
