(29/11) The Magister of Psychology organized a workshop with the theme “Bayesian for Psychology”. The purpose of this event is to the introduction of Bayesian Statistics for research in the field of psychology. This Workshop was attended mostly by students of the Magister of Psychology but did not close the possibility of students from other programs also participated in this event. About more than 30 people attended the event. This event took at A 203 Faculty of Psychology UGM from 1 p.m to 3 pm. Danang Teguh Qoyyimi S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. which is also a lecturer of MIPA UGM is trusted to be a speaker in this workshop. Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology again held workshops. This Workshop was themed in publication. The Workshop was a researcher from the Centre for Cultural Psychology of Aalborg University, Denmark, Luca Tateo, Ph.D., and Giuseppina Marsico, Ph.D. The event was held from 8 a.m. to evening and lasted two days on Thursday and Friday, precisely on the 17th and 18th of October 2019. Located in building A-214, Workshop was attended by the lecturer, Doctoral Program Student, and Magister. CICP has also invited students from undergraduate programs. But the participants who dominate are the Doctoral Program Students who are in the process to become the first writers. Monday (30/09) The Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University together with SES (Senior Experten Service), an institution from Germany, re-organized the workshop. The Art Therapy Workshop of Session II and III was completed on Friday (6/9) and Tuesday (10/9). At the Auditorium G-100, the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada was attended by approximately 70 participants. The workshop was guided by Prof. Evelin Witruk from University of Leipzig, Germany. Acted as a moderator of the workshop is Satwika Rahapsari, S. Friday (03/05) the Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) organized a policy recommendation development Workshop whose materials were presented by Eddy Kiswanto, S.Si., M.Si., of the Centre for Population Studies and policy. This Workshop is devoted to the CICP internal research that is taking a master program. The Workshop takes place from 9 a.m. until 4 pm. Located in building B-104, this workshop was attended by internal research that comes from various interests in Master of Psychology Program. The event begins with material exposure first. Then the participants were asked to review all policy recommendations to be proposed by the CICP. It departs from the realization that CICP as a unit that produces a lot of research. So that the research container is able to produce a policy that is beneficial to community problems. read more
