Friday (12/11) Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology UGM held an international webinar with the topic “Challenges of Living in a Diverse Society”. The topic was presented by three speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A., Dr. Muhammad Najib Azca, and Rogelia Pe-Pua, Ph.D. This webinar was attended by more than 200 participants online starting at 13.00 WIB. Before entering the material, this event was opened by Haidar Buldan Thantowi, S.Psi., M.A., Ph.D as the Chair of CICP. “Me and my friends who are present today are very lucky to be able to follow and meet the speakers,” said Buldan.

Youth Empowerment Studio (YES!) in collaboration with Central Public Mental Health (CPMH) held a Webinar with the topic “Procrastination and Time Management” on Friday (2/7). YES! is one of the units in the CPMH education cluster, Faculty of Psychology UGM which has a vision to spread and campaign on the importance of mental health among teenagers. Webinars hosted by YES! this time it is a series of events in welcoming the 2021 summer lecture series held by CPMH on 19 July-4 August 2021.

This event is the fourth event that has been held as a routine activity every Friday during the month of Ramadan. Faculty of Psychology UGM on Friday (30/4) held a Friday Morning Study Webinar with the topic “Ramadan and the Spirit in History: Improving Work Ethics and Productivity”. This event is a routine activity held by the Faculty of Psychology UGM during the month of Ramadan on Friday. This event was preceded by the reading of the divine kalam and continued with a speech by Dr. Yuli Fajar Susetyo, M.Sc., a psychologist as the deputy dean of finance, assets and human resources. Through his remarks, Yuli hopes that this event can foster the enthusiasm of children today who tend to prefer fun things to be more struggling.
Friday (9/4) Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada held a Webinar entitled “Tips for Healthy Eating Post Vaccine”. This event is one of the socialization efforts about vaccines and how to regulate life patterns after the Covid-19 vaccine.
The current pandemic condition has a direct impact on the way people communicate, including the communication carried out in the counseling process and psychological therapy in Indonesia.
