UGM Psychology Faculty students, Dewan Laksamana Putra or commonly called Dewan won a gold medal at the 34th PIMNAS 2021. Together with two friends from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISPOL) UGM, Dewan won a gold medal through the title of research “Zoom Hit: A Study of Expectation Violations in Interpersonal Relationships for New Students 2020 through Virtual Meetings during a Pandemic”.
Together with the Center for Life-span Development (CLSD), the Faculty of Psychology held a Research Knowledge Sharing event together with Elga Andriana, S.Psi., M.Ed., Ph.D on Friday (29/10). This time, Research Knowledge Sharing discussed the topic of Amplifying Children’s Voices within Arts-Based Service-Learning: Emerging Inclusive Education Practices in Indonesia. “So, judging from the title, we can catch that this research is voicing children’s voices about inclusive education,” explained Elga. The event, which is held online, starts at 13.30 WIB and ends at 15.00 WIB.
Thursday (21/10) a Professor Inauguration Ceremony was held for Prof. Dr. Avin Fadilla Helmi, M.Sc. The inauguration event was carried out in a mixed manner, with the implementation offline at the Balai Senat of the University of Gadjah Mada and online through the Zoom Meeting and broadcast live through the Gadjah Mada University YouTube. The Inauguration Ceremony was opened by the Rector of UGM, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU., ASEAN Eng.
Thursday (7/10), the Faculty of Psychology UGM held an Open Meeting of the Faculty Senate and a mixed farewell to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM. The offline event uses the G-100 auditorium of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, while the online event uses the Zoom application. This event was attended by more than 200 invited guests with Ade Novianti, S.E. as a presenter. This year’s faculty senate open meeting was opened by Prof. Drs. Subandi, M.A., Ph.D., Psychologist. as Chair of the Faculty Senate.
Sunday (26/09), alumni of the 2011 Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada held a virtual reunion with the theme “One Decade Together: Returning Home for Remembering”. This virtual reunion event was attended by 100 alumni by inviting Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A and Prof. Dra. Kwartarini Wahyu Yuniarti, M.Med.Sc., Ph.D., Psychologist as a guest representative from a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology UGM.
Friday (24/09) UGM Psychology Consulting Unit held the 13th UKP Synergy UKP Sharing (UBUB) with the topic “Tracks Behind the Consultation Room: Counselling for Employees” online. The topic that was brought up by UBUB #13 this time was delivered by Diana Setiyowati, Psikolog and Indrayanti, M.Sc., Ph.D., Psikolog.
Carrying the topic, “Trails of Stories Behind the Consultation Room: Grief Counselling”, the Psychological Consultation Unit (UKP) again held the 12th UKP Synergy UKP Sharing (UBUB) on Friday (10/9). The topic was delivered by Dra. Sri Kusrohmaniah, M.Sc., PhD and Azri Agustin S.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist as moderators.

On this occasion, the topic raised is “Relieve Broken Hearts with Mindfulness”. The resource persons involved in this topic are Vincent Eddy K. H., M.Psi., a psychologist as one of the partner psychologists at UKP.
