The Doctor of Psychology Program together with the Ethics Commission of the Faculty of Psychology held a Research Ethics Seminar on Tuesday (11/01). The seminar was divided into two sessions with two different speakers. For the first session, Prof. Dra. RA Yayi Suryo Prabandari, M.Sc., Ph.D who delivered material on “Integrity and Research Ethics Involving Humans”. The seminar for the first session starts at 11.00 WIB and is held online via Zoom.
The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Psychology together with the UGM Psychology Doctoral Program held a Research Ethics Seminar on Tuesday (11/1). The seminar was divided into two sessions with two different speakers. For the first session. Present Prof. Dra. RA Yayi Suryo Prabandari, while in the second session as a speaker, Dra. Sri Kusrohmaniah, M.Sc., Ph.D Psychologist with the topic “Ethical Considerations in Psychological Research”. “I will give a discussion about the introduction and why it is necessary to study ethics in psychological research,” explained Kusrohmaniah at the beginning of the material.
Still in the series of celebrations for the 57th Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology, UGM Faculty of Psychology held Psychology Week on the last day on Friday (7/1). The event on the last day was also held in two methods, not only online but also offline. The event on the last day of Psychology Week starts at 08.00 WIB and is filled with agendas from the Career Centre of the Faculty of Psychology UGM.
The Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held the last online lecture session in 2021 with the topic “Sexual Grooming Alert”. This time the topic was delivered by Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anis, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Before we know much about sexual grooming, actually grooming has a positive meaning, namely preparing so that the results will be more prepared or better,” said Nurul at the beginning of the session.
Friday (17/12) Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture with the topic “Loneliness and Mental Health”. The topic was brought up by two resource persons who have often filled CPMH Online Lectures, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “The theme has actually been discussed by many parties, especially when we surf on Instagram,” said Nurul at the beginning of the event.
Tuesday (14/12) Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Healthy Indonesia Partnership Foundation (YKIS) held a webinar with the topic “Mental Health for Rural Indonesia”. The event was moderated by Idei K. Swasti, M.Psi., a Psychologist and opened with an introductory remark by Prof. Irwanto, Ph.D. as Chairman of the YKIS Governing Body. In addition, this webinar event presents various speakers consisting of Prof. dr. Laksono Trisnantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., Father Dr. C. Suparman Andi, MI., and Dr. Diana Setyawati, M.HSc., Ph.D.
Friday (25/11) Centre for Life Span Development or commonly known as CLSD held a “Publication Writing Workshop: Tips for Reaching Reputable International Journal Publications”. This event was held as part of the end of the CLSD Workshop series of events. “The plan is that there will be two publications to be produced, namely publications for the general public that can be seen on the CLSD Instagram account and publications for the international realm and academics in the form of international journal publications,” explained Elga Andriana, M.Ed., Ph.D., as the chairman of CLSD in his speech.
Wednesday (24/11) Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture with the topic “Building and Mental Health”. The topic was presented by two speakers, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Why do we explain all kinds of bullying, it turns out that in the field there are still many friends or even adults who don’t understand that it is bullying or teenagers who finally realize that they have been bullying all this time,” explained Nurul.
Saturday (11/13), the Faculty of Psychology UGM held a welcoming ceremony for new students from the 2021 batch through the “Temu Kenal Akrab 2021” event. This event is held for two days, from November 13 to November 14, 2021. Temu Kenal Akrab is an annual activity to welcome new students of the Faculty of Psychology. Attended by 300 participants, the welcoming event this time became a forum for students to know the social structure and initiate good relations between forces even in a pandemic condition.
Friday (12/11) Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology UGM held an international webinar with the topic “Challenges of Living in a Diverse Society”. The topic was presented by three speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A., Dr. Muhammad Najib Azca, and Rogelia Pe-Pua, Ph.D. This webinar was attended by more than 200 participants online starting at 13.00 WIB. Before entering the material, this event was opened by Haidar Buldan Thantowi, S.Psi., M.A., Ph.D as the Chair of CICP. “Me and my friends who are present today are very lucky to be able to follow and meet the speakers,” said Buldan.
