UPKM Seminar Series: Embrace Vulnerability to Deal With Change at Work

Human Resource Quality Improvement Institute (UPKM) of Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada held the fourth Post COVID Quality of Work Life Seminar Series online, on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10.00 – 11.30 AM trough Zoom Meeting. It was attended by 150 participants which are UGM students, alumni, public and partners. The event also broadcasted live from UPKM Psikologi UGM Youtube channel.

The topic for the session is Embrace Vulnerability to Deal With Change at Work, presented by Indrayanti, M.Si., Ph.D., Head of UPKM as well as lecturer in Faculty of Psychology UGM.

Indrayanti, M.Si., Ph.D. conveyed that the changes that caused by Covid-19 pandemic, especially ones that affecting organization, could become a pressure for employee in organization. In her presentation, she focused about individual aspects in organization, where every individual has varied vulnerability, resilience and way to adapt to the current situation. It is important for companies to notice on employee well-being and ideally achieve quality of work life. If it is achieved, then employee can work with ease and comfortably in the organization, and the impact will certainly be positive on the organization.

After the presentation, the session was continue with question and answer session guided by the moderator.
