Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Faculty of Psychology successfully held the graduation and professional oath ceremony for students graduating from the postgraduate program (01/19/2017). Fourteen psychologists and nine scientists graduated from the Professional Psychology Masters Program and the Scientific Psychology Masters Program, respectively. Up until now, 2.341 people have graduated from the postgraduate program in Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Faculty of Psychology.
In the Professional Psychology Masters Program, the highest obtained grade point average was 3,94, obtained by Titien, who also got awarded cum laude. Other graduates who were awarded the honor by graduating cum laude were Taufik Akbar Rizqi Yunanto (3,88 GPA), Ardi Primasari (3,84 GPA), Tri Astuti (3,84 GPA), Nurlaila Anisahwati (3,8 GPA), and Lifthya Ahadiati Akmala (3,76 GPA). There were seven graduates who were cited as very satisfactory and one graduate cited as satisfactory. Ardi Primasari, Taufik Akbar Rizqi Yunanto, Lifthya Ahadiati Akmala, Nurlaila Anisahwati, Titien, and Tri Astuti graduated with the shortest study period, graduating after 2 years and 4 months.
Moving on to the Scientific Psychology Masters Program, the highest grade point average of 4.00 was obtained by Anita Novianty, who graduated cum laude. Another graduate who graduated cum laude was Hanifah Latif Muslimah (3.90 GPA). In this period, there were four graduates cited most satisfactory and three graduates cited as satisfactory. Anita Novianty graduated with the shortest study period of 1 year and 10 months.
This time, the Faculty of Psychology gave awards to Anita Novianty and Ardi Primasari as the graduates with the best thesis publication manuscript. Anita’s thesis is titled “Seeking of Formal Aid in Relation to Mental Disorders Based on Mental Health Literacy and Community Attitude towards Mental Health”, advised and supervised by Prof. Dr. M. Noor Rochman Hadjam, S.U. Sari’s thesis is titled “Enjoying Every Moment: Improving Adolescent’s Subjective Well-Being Through Adolescent Mindfulness Program”. Sari is a clinical psychologists under supervision of Prof. Kwartarini Wahyu Yuniarti, M.Med. Sc.PhD.,Psikolog.
