UGM Faculty of Psychology Passes 10 Psychologists and 7 Scientists

Universitas Gadjah Mada Faculty of Psychology has successfully held graduation ceremony for postgraduate program on 27 July 2016. There were 10 psychologists from Professional Psychologist Program and 7 scientists from Magister Program of Psychology. With this addition, the total of number of postgraduate program graduates from Universitas Gadjah Mada Faculty of Psychology is 2.261.

For the Professional Psychologist Program, the title of highest GPA was assigned to Nani Sukmawati (3.92). The cum laude distinction was given to Nurkumala Sakti (GPA 3,84) and Lysabrina Rizky Annistya (GPA 3.78). 5 earned the outstanding distinction, while 3 the very good distinction. Ridyawanti earned the distinction of having the shortest study period among her peers, with 2 years and 7 months of duration.

As for the Magister Program of Psychology, Elisabeth Haksi Mayawati achieved the title for highest GPA as well as the cum laude distinction for her 3.83 GPA. Another cum laude awardee was Fadjri Kirana Anggraini  (GPA 3.81). For this program, 3 achieved the outstanding distinction, and 1 the very good distinction. The title for shortest study period of 1 year and 7 months was given to Fitri Pamulatsih.

Faculty of Psychology bestowed special awards to Helvira Rosalia and Elisabeth Haksi Mayawati for best published thesis. Helvira’s thesis was titled “Construction of Dyscalculia Screening Tool For Kindergarten Students”. Helvira’s specialization was educational psychology under the supervision of Supra Wimbarti, M. Sc., Ph. D. Meanwhile, Haksi’s thesis was titled “Online Self-Presentation for Adolescents Using Social Media”, supervised by Dr. Avin Fadilla Helmi, M.Si.
