Oral Presentation Guidelines
- The presentation will use PowerPoint, with these conditions:
- The total number of slides is 10-12.
- The contents of the slides have to be arranged according to the abstract (background, objective, method, results, conclusion).
- It is advised to use 24 pt for the font with the maximum for one slide is 40. If using pictures or other medias, then the number of letters should be adjust according to the space provided in the slide
- The material for presentations should be submitted in the form of a power point presentation no longer than November 7, 2017.
- The presentation can go on for 10 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for a question and answer session.
- There will be two warning signals to remind the presenters of the time limit, on the 7 minutes mark and 9 minutes mark.
- There will be a strict time management rule for the presentations.
- The mechanism for discussion is done at once, on the spot, from the questions asked by the audience.
- For abstracts with more than 2 writers, please note that the committee will only provide 2 oral presenter certificates for each accepted abstract.
