In conducting research, in particular for lecturers, sometimes they run into similar challenges such as lack in time management, administrative duties, and the absence of research partner.

It is important to have good time management and institutional support system in order to overcome those challenges. Besides, conducting collaborative research with students also become one of the solution, because by conducting collaborative research, it can provide positive impact for both part. Students will have more experience in conducting research as well as improvement in writing. This thing will become valuable experience for students who have plan to work in research field in the future.

Another obstacle from research are the indirect benefit, different from giving direct lecture in classes, because research is a long term project. However through research, the contribution and impact can reach broader society and science in general, though the results are not immediately apparent.
