Thursday (7/10), the Faculty of Psychology UGM held an Open Meeting of the Faculty Senate and a mixed farewell to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM. The offline event uses the G-100 auditorium of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, while the online event uses the Zoom application. This event was attended by more than 200 invited guests with Ade Novianti, S.E. as a presenter. This year’s faculty senate open meeting was opened by Prof. Drs. Subandi, M.A., Ph.D., Psychologist. as Chair of the Faculty Senate.
This Senate Open Meeting has a main agenda, namely the 2016-2021 Dean’s Report of Service which was presented by Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A. “We have compiled this report based on the annual reports that we have submitted in a forum like this,” said Faturochman. In addition, Faturochman also said that there are several Faculty agendas that have not been achieved, one of which is about increasing foreign student admissions.
The report begins with a presentation related to academics. Several things were conveyed related to the 16 International Students of the NOHA Program in Master of Psychology in 2018. Then in 2019, set the manuscript as the only form of the final project. Furthermore, in 2020, he will conduct a guide to writing the 6th edition of the APA final project, and in 2021 an extension of the accreditation of the Master of Professional Psychology and Master of Psychology will be carried out. Other things that were also conveyed by Faturochman in the 2016-2021 Dean’s Report related to Quality Assurance, Student Statistics, Research and Publications, and so on.
The event continued with Farewell to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM starting at 10.30 with Erina Chusnulita, S.P., M.M.A. as a presenter. The event began with several video screenings about the agendas that had been carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM so far. In addition, there were also video screenings containing impressions, messages and thanks delivered by representatives from lecturers, students, study programs, education staff, POTMAPSI, and KAPSIGAMA.
At the end of the Farewell event, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D delivered a speech as the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM for the 2021-2026 period. “Bismillah, I declare that I am ready (as Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM for the period 2021-2026).
