Faculty of Psychology’s concern to the students who affected by COVID-19 is quite profound. In addition to Phone Credit Program that given to Psychology UGM students, the Dean of Faculty of Psycholgy UGM formed Student Care Team – Faculty of Psychology UGM (TPM-Psi UGM). TPM-Psi UGM team consist of lecturer, educational staff, unity of student’s parent (POTMAPSI), Dharma Wanita Psychology UGM and Psychology Student Institution (LM Psi). They promptly determine several steps such as fundraising from various sources, mapping out student’s problems, evaluating and executing funding support based on the problems in order to overcome it. The role of LM Psi in helping the process analysing and evaluating students and family problem which affected by COVID-19 considered to be an a remarkable form of participation.
Based on the total amount of the fund, around Rp. 20,300,000 had already distributed to students that eligible to receive the funding support. The remaining fund will be used for the other programs. In the near future, TPM-Psi UGM planning to provide logistic support for students who stayed in Yogyakarta and students that originally from Yogyakarta but need to be helped. The other program will be adjusting the situation and needs that affected by COVID-19. We also thank the alumni and the other sources who support and help this program.
