Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) host a webinar about “Toxic” Parenting on Saturday, July 4, 2020 using Google Meeting. It was held at 12.30-14.00 WIB with 250 registrants from students to general public.
This webinar is the first public lecture by CPMH. Participants can register for free trough link that provided by CPMH.
The speakers for this events are Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psikolog, as CPMH, UKP and Gama Medical Center (GMC) UGM Psychologist, aslo Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psikolog as CPMH, UKP Psychologist.
The public lecture session was start with opening statement from CPMH, guided by Aqyas Dini Anisa as the moderator. Furthermore, the session continued with learning material which delivered by Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psikolog and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psikolog.
“Toxic” Parenting term is commonly used by society nowadays, people tend to use it to express about negative parenting condition. According to the theory, “Toxic” Parenting is similar with parenting dysfunction or unhealthy parenting & relationship. However, the main key of this term is the intensity of the unpleasant behavior, so we can’t instantly use the label.
This event was aimed to giving broader perspective about “Toxic” Parenting to society, bearing in mind this often becomes a labeling that tends to be negative in the community.
