The Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held the last online lecture session in 2021 with the topic “Sexual Grooming Alert”. This time the topic was delivered by Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anis, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Before we know much about sexual grooming, actually grooming has a positive meaning, namely preparing so that the results will be more prepared or better,” said Nurul at the beginning of the session.

Wednesday (22/12) UGM Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) in collaboration with the Yayasan Kemitraan Indonesia Sehat (YKIS) held a mental health webinar with the title “Indonesia’s Mental Policy Direction”. This event discusses the policy journey that has been taken by the Indonesian government to ensure the mental health of the community. This event also discussed how the implementation of the policy in the field from various perspectives.
Friday (17/12) Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture with the topic “Loneliness and Mental Health”. The topic was brought up by two resource persons who have often filled CPMH Online Lectures, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “The theme has actually been discussed by many parties, especially when we surf on Instagram,” said Nurul at the beginning of the event.
Tuesday (14/12) Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Healthy Indonesia Partnership Foundation (YKIS) held a webinar with the topic “Mental Health for Rural Indonesia”. The event was moderated by Idei K. Swasti, M.Psi., a Psychologist and opened with an introductory remark by Prof. Irwanto, Ph.D. as Chairman of the YKIS Governing Body. In addition, this webinar event presents various speakers consisting of Prof. dr. Laksono Trisnantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., Father Dr. C. Suparman Andi, MI., and Dr. Diana Setyawati, M.HSc., Ph.D.
Tuesday (7/12) PGRI Yogyakarta City in collaboration with the Center for Life-Span Development (CLSD) UGM held a webinar with the title “Providing Accommodation for Students with Disabilities in Indonesia”. This event was held in commemoration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities which is celebrated every year on 3 December.
Friday (3/12) and Saturday (4/12) the Faculty of Psychology UGM held a Theraupetic Art-Making and Gift-Giving event. Therapeutic Art is a psychological therapy or self-healing through art media. This limited offline event is a series of events for the 57th Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology UGM. The location of this event is in the canteen of the Faculty of Psychology UGM.
Monday (29/11) the Center for Public Mental Health again held a series of online lectures open to the public. The theme this time is “Suicide prevention”, an actual issue that often gets public attention but there is not much knowledge about how to prevent and deal with it.
Friday (25/11) Centre for Life Span Development or commonly known as CLSD held a “Publication Writing Workshop: Tips for Reaching Reputable International Journal Publications”. This event was held as part of the end of the CLSD Workshop series of events. “The plan is that there will be two publications to be produced, namely publications for the general public that can be seen on the CLSD Instagram account and publications for the international realm and academics in the form of international journal publications,” explained Elga Andriana, M.Ed., Ph.D., as the chairman of CLSD in his speech.
Wednesday (24/11) Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture with the topic “Building and Mental Health”. The topic was presented by two speakers, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Why do we explain all kinds of bullying, it turns out that in the field there are still many friends or even adults who don’t understand that it is bullying or teenagers who finally realize that they have been bullying all this time,” explained Nurul.
The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada held the event for the Release of Period I Graduates of the Academic Year 2021/2022 for the Undergraduate Program and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) for the first time online and offline (24/11). The release event was broadcast online through the Pengetahuan Psikologi Channel and Zoom, while the offline event was limited to the G-100 Auditorium, Faculty of Psychology UGM. The event was started by singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and the UGM Hymn. Then the event continued with the opening of the Release of Psychology Graduates Period I T.A 2021/2020 by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D.
