On Saturdays and Sundays, precisely on 4 and 5 May 2019, the Faculty of Psychology of UGM organizes the acceptance of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP). About 100 participants have followed on the first intake and 77 participants in the second intake. Participants come from various areas including Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Bandar Lampung, Yogyakarta, Palembang, Denpasar, and even Malaysia.

I Gusti Agung Dyah Cahyaninggrat, a student of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, managed to scent the name of UGM in the International championships held by the Penang Judo Association. Dyah and 11 other students from UKM Judo UGM participated in Judo Championship Circuit 2 years 2019 championship in Penang, Malaysia on 23 April 2019.

This competition took place at Gor Lila Bhuana, Denpasar, Bali. This event is held once a year by the Indonesian National Sports Committee (Koni) Denpasar.

As a continuation of the family membership training activity of a theatre (KRST) held annually, then held a staged study (Stupen) titled “Spinach”. The staging was held on Friday (03/05) night and the organizers invited various students at the Faculty of Psychology UGM to attend the watch.
Scientific Writing Competition Qurani (LKTIQ) is part of the 7th Qurani Festival organized by the activity Unit student-development Tahfidhul Qur’an (UPTQ) UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This LKTIQ themed “integrates the values of the Qur’an & Industrial Revolution to realize Indonesia’s competitive”.
Friday (03/05) the Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) organized a policy recommendation development Workshop whose materials were presented by Eddy Kiswanto, S.Si., M.Si., of the Centre for Population Studies and policy. This Workshop is devoted to the CICP internal research that is taking a master program. The Workshop takes place from 9 a.m. until 4 pm. Located in building B-104, this workshop was attended by internal research that comes from various interests in Master of Psychology Program. The event begins with material exposure first. Then the participants were asked to review all policy recommendations to be proposed by the CICP. It departs from the realization that CICP as a unit that produces a lot of research. So that the research container is able to produce a policy that is beneficial to community problems.
Nursing care is the task of nursing practice carried out by the nurse in the hospital. The implementation of the orphanage is based on nursing standards. One important part of nursing care is the spiritual treatment. However, the competency of spiritual care provided by nurses to patients is still low, because nurses prefer physical care and treatment. While spiritual care needs to ensure the patient’s quality of life.
Michael Robert A. T., a student of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, managed to donate 2 achievements from the tournament UGM Tennis Cup 2019. Michael won runners-up in the team category and gold medal in the men’s doubles category.
Technological advances are increasingly demanding everyone to be flexible in the face of challenges in this era. It is also the reason that the Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology UGM facilitates Psychology students to know and understand big data, as well as its role in supporting research that cannot be released of academic responsibility as a student. The event was held on 30 April 2019 in Auditorium G-100, Faculty of Psychology UGM and took place in the afternoon until evening. The event namely “Big Data Workshop” was dominated by the students of the Masters and several students from S1. John Kartika Herdiyanto, S. Psi., M.A. is a speaker in this activity. He is a lecturer at Udayana University and Doctoral Program Student at the Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University.
