Faculty of Psychology yielded 47 undergraduates on graduate ceremony period II of 2019/2020 academic year. There are 43 students from Undergraduate program, 4 from International Undergraduate Program (IUP), consisted with 7 male and 40 female in total. The ceremony taking place at Auditorium G-100, Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University after previous ceremonial process at Graha Sabha Pramana UGM (19/02/20).

In the beginning of new semester in 2019-2020, Faculty of Psychology held “syukuran” (gathering) on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Faculty of Psychology, Building D’s hallway. The purpose of this event are to welcome the new semester with positive attitude and gratefulness.
Faculty of Psychology UGM held a professional oath-taking and release of graduate ceremony on January 22, 2020 at Auditorium G-100.
The number of graduates from Professional Psychology Program are 36 psychologists, with 7 male and 29 female in detail. There are 2.935 total of graduates from postgraduate program at Faculty of Psychology until now.
22/01 Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Pulau Pinang, Malaysia visit Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University. Event was proposed by Unit Kerjaya & Kaunseling UiTM, a counseling unit which run by students in order to give peer counseling to others. The objective of the visit was to gain more knowledge about counseling.
Tuesday, 21/01 Faculty of Psychology was held a Public Lecture which attended by graduate and undergraduate student from Gadjah Mada University and other Universities in Yogyakarta. The event take place at Atrium G-100 Faculty of Psychology, on 09.00-11.00 WIB.
Central Public For Mental Health (CPMH) was organized a workshop called Building Strong Families. The event was held for two days, from January 15 to 16, 2020 at Auditorium G-100. It was attended by 99 audiences who has psychology as educational backgroud, rerearcher, lecturer and housewife.
Family is a foundation and a place where human start to learn. On Tuseday, January 14, 2020, Central for Public Mental Health (CPMH) was conducting an event with strong family as a topic. The speakers for this events are Dr. Sumaryono, M. Si. from Faculty of Psyschology at Gadjah Mada University and Prof. Sylvia Asay from University of Nebraska at Kearney, USA.
Wednesday (8/1), Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University held a peak events of XI Lustrum and 55th Faculty anniversary. Not only lecturers, ducational professionals and alumni, but retired and faculty partners also attending this event.
(29/11) The Magister of Psychology organized a workshop with the theme “Bayesian for Psychology”. The purpose of this event is to the introduction of Bayesian Statistics for research in the field of psychology. This Workshop was attended mostly by students of the Magister of Psychology but did not close the possibility of students from other programs also participated in this event. About more than 30 people attended the event. This event took at A 203 Faculty of Psychology UGM from 1 p.m to 3 pm. Danang Teguh Qoyyimi S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. which is also a lecturer of MIPA UGM is trusted to be a speaker in this workshop. Bayesian itself is a method of knowing the probability to establish a decision tailored to the concept of Psychology.
Answering today’s challenges, various institutions need a deeper review to get a picture of the combined aspects of the developed technology as challenges of the day itself. Therefore, various components of the technology are learned to fulfill the demands of work or learning needs. One of the components in question is big data. Due to this, Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Persero in collaboration with the Faculty of Psychology UGM held a workshop titled “Big Data Analysis for Human Capital” Workshop.
