As a form of education for the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) to the public, on Monday (12/07) held an online lecture with the topic “Psychosocial Support for COVID-19 Patients”. Together with Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist, it is hoped that this online lecture can make the community as agents who provide social support for those around them who are affected by COVID-19.

Friday (2/7) the Undergraduate Study Program of the Faculty of Psychology UGM held a Research Knowledge Sharing event with the theme “Construct Validation of Learning Efficiency (GI) and Retrieval Fluency (Gr) of AJT COGTEST”. This event is a routine dissemination of research results from UGM students and lecturers.
Youth Empowerment Studio (YES!) in collaboration with Central Public Mental Health (CPMH) held a Webinar with the topic “Procrastination and Time Management” on Friday (2/7). YES! is one of the units in the CPMH education cluster, Faculty of Psychology UGM which has a vision to spread and campaign on the importance of mental health among teenagers. Webinars hosted by YES! this time it is a series of events in welcoming the 2021 summer lecture series held by CPMH on 19 July-4 August 2021.
The Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with Flux, the Gadjah Mada Psychology Alumni Family (KAPSIGAMA), and Binar Academy held an event to launch the Psychology Digital Application Creators Program or PSYDIAC. The event was held on Saturday (3/7) online by inviting several speakers, including Alamanda Shantika Santoso, S.Si., S.Kom (Founders and President Director of Binar Academy), Erlina Dewi Fitriany, M.Psi., Psychologist (CEO of Flux), Prabaswara Desi, S.Psi., Psychologist, (Chairman of KAPSIGAMA), and Galang Lufityanto, M.Psi., Ph.D (Head of Psychology Undergraduate Study Program). The launch of this program was designed by the faculty to equip selected students with the skills to design digital products.
Friday (25/6) the Psychology Consultation Unit (UKP) of the Faculty of Psychology UGM held a series of UKP webinar events in synergy with UKP Sharing. On this occasion, UKP took the theme of the event with the title “Trails of Stories Behind the Consultation Room: Written Telecounseling”.
The Faculty of Psychology UGM on Friday (25/06) held a socialization with the topic “Discussing MBKM Implementation of the Faculty of Psychology UGM”. This event was held by several parties consisting of the Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Psychology UGM, Internship Implementation Team, Career Center, and Office of Cooperation, International Affairs, and Alumni (OCIA). The purpose of this event is to explain about the implementation of MBKM at the Faculty of Psychology UGM, the MBKM Apprentice registration mechanism, and the introduction of the Apprenticeship registration system at SIT. In addition, this event was also accompanied by Acintya Ratna Pratiwi, S.Psi., M.A as the host and was opened by remarks from the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, namely, Dr. Nida Ul Hasanat, M.Sc.
Friday (18/6) Faculty of Psychology UGM and Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture event: “Overthinking and mental health”. This event is a series of online lectures regularly held by CPMH with various themes on mental health and is open to the public.
Unit Konsultasi Psikologi (UKP) on Wednesday (16/06) held the 6th event of UKP Bersinergi UKP Berbagi with the topic “The Art of Embracing Children’s Emotions”. The event was held online with Ismu Chandra Kurniawati, M.Psi., a psychologist as resource person. The event started with resource persons showing the participants an interactive platform to share how they feel today through pictures that show certain emotions. “Whatever feelings you are experiencing right now are valid. There is neither right nor wrong. That is indeed something that you are experiencing right now and it is actually something that is important to us,” explained Ismu.
Friday (11/6) Psychology Undergraduate Study Program UGM held a Research Knowledge Sharing event “Psychological Resilience of DIY’s Families: Relationships in the Family”. This event is a session to explain the results of research in the field of mental health in the family sphere.
The Faculty of Psychology UGM on Friday (11/6) held a guest lecture with the topic “Educational Psychology Practice in Australia Including Times of COVID-19”. This event was accompanied by resource persons who are educational ethics experts in private schools and lecturers as well as supervisors at the Cronichal Clinic Monarch University, Dr. Pascale Paradis BA. MEd, DEdPsy, MAPS, MBPsS, FCEDP.
