Buletin Psikologi UGM Earned Second Rank National Accreditation

UGM Psychology’s scientific journal, Buletin Psikologi (Psychology Bulletin) received national accreditation with the Sinta Dikti 2 index. The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education gave this accreditation as the result of the hard work of the Publication Unit team, along with researchers, lecturers, and students involved in writing scientific journals.

“The proposal of this accreditation process is done entirely online,” said Umi Nurjanah, S.Fil., M.A., staff from the Unit of Research, Community Service and Publication (also known as UP4). This accreditation for Buletin Psikologi E-ISSN:2528-5858 is valid for 5 years, from Vol. 24 No. 1 Year 2016 to Vol. 28 No. 2 Year 2020.

Currently, UP4 is still working to increase the result of accreditation so it can be even better. Netti Ermawati, S.T., who is also one of the staff of UP4 also stated that “The enhancement of quality is done with refining the management of the bulletin, manuscript, human resources, the editorial board, writing quality, and increasing the management of international and national manuscripts.”

In the future, it is expected for the next accreditation, Buletin Psikologi can earn the Scopus index so it can reach international acknowledgment.
