Wednesday (21/10) Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University held online graduation ceremony Period I for 2020/2021 academic year. It was attended by 39 graduates from Doctor of Psychological Science Program, Master of Psychological Science Program and Master of Professional Psychology Program.
The number of graduate from Doctor of Psychological Science Program is 1 graduate. Meanwhile, Master of Psychological Science Program had 18 graduates and 20 graduates from
Master of Professional Psychology Program. In summary, the number of postgraduate graduates from the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University are 3,048 for S2 and 155 for S3.
In Doctor of Psychological Science Program, highest cumulative index achieved by Tience Debora Valentina with 3,91 as well as cumlaude predicate. Tience also becoming graduate’s representative and give a short speech, “With knowledge and skills gained from the study, we will and must contribute to the development of Indonesia, by prioritizing human values as a form of our devotion as Gadjah Mada students to fulfill the call of motherland, by upholding Indonesian culture and glory”.
Meanwhile in Master of Psychological Science Program highest cumulative index achieved by Laila Indra Lestari, Abdullah Azzam Al Afghani, and Rosita Cahya Hidayantias with 3,85 GPA as well as cumlaude predicate. In this period there are 6 graduates with cumlaude predicate, 10 with well-awarded predicate and 2 with satisfying predicate. Shortest study period was achieved by Maria Bramanwidyantari and Dewi Fatmasari Edy with 1 year, 10 months and 13 days.
Furthermore, at Master of Professional Psychology Program, the highest cumulative index is 3,86 achieved by Gita Yolanda as well as cumlaude predicate. There are 4 graduates with cumlaude prediacte, 14 with well-awarded predicate and 2 graduates with satisfying predicate. The shortest study period achieved by Sri Dian Fitriani with 2 years 0 months and days.
Faculty of Psychology giving special credit to two master students, which are Abdullah Azzam Al Afghani dan Maria Stephanie Gunandar for graduate with best thesis publication. Abdullah conducted a research about “Comparison of Parallel Test Results of Automatic Assembly Based on Classical Test Theory Approach and Item Response Theory: Monte Carlo Simulation” under the guidance of Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi. M.Sc., Ph.D. Meanwhile, Maria’s thesis raised a title “The Role of Authoritative Parenting on the Appearance of Psychotic Like Experience (PLE) in Adolescents with Proactive Coping and Resilience as Mediators” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Subandi, M.A.
On this occasion, Dean of Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A., advised the alumni to stick to the ethics of kindness and efforts to improve the quality of human life and also being useful for the environment, family and the nation.
