Doctor of Psychology Program Faculty of Psychology UGM held Academic Orientation for new doctoral students of 2020/2021 academic year online. The event was held on September 9-18, 2020.
The event was opened with the Postgraduate Lecture Program on September 9, 2020, at 1.00-3.00 PM. The topic was about inclusive education, presented by Elga Andriana, S.Psi, M.Ed, Ph.D, one of the lecturers at the UGM Faculty of Psychology. This inaugural lecture was also attended by postgraduate students from the Psychology Masters and Professional Psychology Masters.
On the following day, the event started with Visual Tour of Psychology of Faculty Building D – 5th Floor and continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology. The 10 new students were also provided with materials about UGM, faculty, introduction to units in faculties such as CLSD, CPMH, CICP, Lab. MBB, UKP, UP4, UPTB, UPKM and UPAP as well as introduction to promotors and co-promotors. In addition, participants also had the opportunity to discuss future study plans with Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D., the Head of Doctor of Psychology Program.
The event was closed with a two-week workshop (SDM) on Friday, 18 September 2020.
