Webinar INPSYRATION: New Normal Era in Industry and Organizational Sector

(27/06) Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University once again held INPSYRATION Webinar. This event is the second series of INPSYRATION. Previously, the first session was held on June 20, 2020. The theme that raised for this webinar is New Normal Era in Industry and Organizational Sector.

This second series is a collaborative event by Faculty of Psychology and Alumni of Faculty of Psychology Class ’95 who have role in industrial and organizational sector. They are, AA Indira Pratyaksa Yukhti Sutedja, S.Psi., Psi as The Vice President Human Capital PT. Elnusa, Tbk; Mohammad Akuntanto Aribowo, S.Psi., MM. as Assitant Vice President Transact on and Funding PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. and Carang Thombara Putra, S.Psi., MM. as Vice President Human Capital Policy PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.

Webinar was attended by 90 participants from Faculty of Psychology UGM, from students, lecturer and alumni of Class ’95. It was held at 1.00 – 3.00 PM via Google Meeting.

The session started with the opening speech from Dr. Nida Ul Hasanat, M.Si. as Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, followed by material session that guided by Zahwa Islami, S.Psi. She is also alumni of Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Outsanding Students) Faculty of Psychology 2018.

First material was delivered by AAA Indira Pratyaksa Yukhti Sutedja, S.Psi., Psi about new normal strategies for industry and organization, particularly in PT. Elnusa, Tbk. She said that this pandemic situation constrain the company to always adapt to the current situation in order to survive. For instance, working plans and new policies that designed for 1 year, now can be a plan of 6 or 3 months plan.

On the other hand, Mohammad Akuntanto Aribowo, S.Psi., MM. delivered about the changes in economic and banking system. COVID-19 has change the behaviour of costumer, the use of e-banking transaction keep increasing during the pandemic. At first, this was predicted to occur in 2022, but this shifting is happening now, from the initial direct transaction through tellers or ATM to transactions through mobile banking or e-banking.

By observing the changes of behavior in society, it is important to always improving competencies of ourselves during new normal era. During the material session, Carang Thombara Putra, S.Psi., MM. convey that it is important for both workers and job seekers. Besides, it is also important to be able to collaborate, be prepared, and always have an open perspective to learn something new every day.

After materials, it was continued with Q & A session and followed by closing statements from the speakers.
