Monday (9/9), Maria Gracia Amara Pawitra, had the opportunity to represent the Faculty of Psychology of UGM in the PYNESCO: Psychology UNNES Smart Competition at the Faculty of Education, State University of Semarang.
Under the guidance of Wahyu Jati Anggoro, S. Psi., M.A., essays made by Grace successfully entered into the final stages of the national Essay Competition PYNESCO. This series of finals consists of the presentation and the question and answer which is the final stage of the race for the first 10 finalists, in which at the previous stage, the participants undergo a selection of papers. The theme of this race is “Healthy Mental in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0” by having 8 sub-themes.
“Departing from my concerns about the industrial revolution and the movement of the proletariat, I am carrying out a paper with a social sub-theme on two major phenomena found in the community in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, which is automation and false needs, titled Double-Steamy chimney: deprivacy in the beak Revolution,” said Grace.
Further Grace explains much as the physical world operates according to gravity and other absolute laws, so does society, in line with the words of the August Comte, the Industrial Revolution that is a form of community movement becomes something inevitable. Thus, this paper shoots how the community evolves in the revolution so as to be master of progress rather than victimized by its own creation.
The fruit of this mind Grace succeeded in the name of the Faculty of Psychology UGM in the national event by obtaining the title 1 in the event of the PYNESCO 2019.
