(9/10) Coinciding with world mental health day that commemorated on October 10, Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychology Program held a Two-Week Colloquium (KDM) that raised a topic called Family Relations and Adolescent Suicide Behavior: Multiple Case Study.
Communicating using the internet network is becoming the main choice in this current pandemic. The use of social media and applications such as Zoom Meeting and Google Meeting are some of available option in completing basic tasks related to communication, such as work or online classes for students. Besides, social media like Instagram, Tinder and Twitter also becoming the choice to express emotions, thoughts or even making friends with someone.
(11/9) Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychology Program held a Two-Week Colloquium (KDM) via Zoom Meeting and also broadcasted on Doktorpsi UGM Youtube channel.
The event started with opening speech from Mr. Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of Doctor of Psychological Science Program. He also welcoming the new doctoral students class of 2020. Afterwards, the event continued with the main session, which is presentation and discussion with the speakers.
Promovendus Club (PC) Doctor of Psychological Science Program, Faculty of Psychology UGM held biweekly coloquioum (KDM) on Friday, August 28, 2020. The event was started at 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM via Zoom Meeting and attended by 120 participants.
Friday (14/8), Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychological Science Program, once again held biweekly colloquioum (KDM) online. The event start at 3.30 to 5.00 PM via Zoom Meeting application.
Attended by 35 participants, this week session give the opportunity to Haidar Buldan Thontowi S.Psi, MA, Ph.D (Cand) who also a lecturer at Faculty of Psychology UGM to become the speaker. The topic called “The impact of counter-narratives on inclusive identity and reconciliation support in the context of anti-communist sentiment in Indonesia” which is the topic of his dissertation.
(30/7) Anxiety and depression are some of the topic in psychology that has various age range of subject, from teenager to adult.
This topic also become dissertation topic by Metta Rahmadiana, M.Si., Ph.D (cand), lecturer from Faculty of Psychology UGM and Ph.D candidate from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She share the topic on this biweekly coloquioum (KDM) that held by Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychological Science Program. The session was attended by Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Head of Doctor of Psychological Science Program and the other 90 participants via Zoom Meeting.
Friday (17/07) Doctor of Psychological Science Program conduct biweekly colloquium via Google Meeting. The event was started at 9.00 – 10.30 AM and attended by 125 participants for free. Participants came from various institutions and background, such as UGM, Unika Atma Jaya and UBAYA. Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Head of Doctor of Psychological Science Program also attending the event.
Phylosophical states about education by Ki Hajar Dewantara, Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madya Mangun Karso, and Tut Wuri Handayani are becoming the basic concept for Education in Indonesia, from the past until present time. This philosophy implying about freedom for children to express and develop themselves according to their potential.
