CV. Karya Hidup Sentosa (CV. KHS) is an agricultural machinery manufacturer which has been established in 1953, in Jogjakarta by Mr. Hadi Kirdjo Suseno.
In 1972 CV. KHS has been awarded the medal of Anugrah Satya Lencana Pembangunan from the second president of The Republic of Indonesia. A year later, in 1973 CV. KHS has made a joint venture with KUBOTA Corps to establish a machinery factory of PT. KUBOTA Indonesia (PT KI) in Semarang. At the present, KHS has received ISO 9001: 2000 certificate.
CV. KHS produces agricultural equipment using “QUICK” brand name. ex: hand tractor (power tiller), power thresher, and so on.
The Brand “QUICK” originally came from customer. At the past, the product of CV. KHS has no brand name, one day customer was offering himself to give the brand name, the customer ask he owner’s name. Hia name was Kwik Hing Sie (Mr. Kwik) taken from the word “KwiK” it was transformed into English and become “QUICK” (meaning “fast”) then “QUICK” was proposed to be the brand name and Mr. Kirdjo Hadi Suseno agreed. Since then the products of agriculture machinery and equipment made by KHS use brand QUICK and the patents have been registered. The brand name was proposed by the customer (Customer Oriented).
QUICK hand tractor is one of the best product and become the market leader in Indonesia and have been exported to other countries. CV. KHS is also developing other products, it produces Exhaust Manifold which have been exported to KOBUTA Corps. Japan as automotive and textile machinery spare parts.
CV. KHS has 7 sales representative offices located in Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Surabaya, Tanjung Karang, Makasar, Medan, and Sidrap. It is also supported by 400 dealers / shops spread throughout Indonesia.
