Abstrak
Model of Guidance and Counseling (BK) PROACTIVE compiled in an effort to equip teachers in schools through psychological skills training. The subject of this research was done in MIN Tempel Sleman Yogyakarta. They are 9 teachers class on group of experiment and 8 of elementary school classroom teachers from Sleman MIN as the group.of control. Subjects taken purposive sampling. The design is a quasi experiment research with pre-test and post-test. PROACTIVE BK model is given in the form of psychological skills training, 6 hours / day for 2 days by a trained team. Monitoring of the effectiveness of treatment performed 4 months after training with the method of observation and interviews with research subjects and significant others who know the subject matter of more than 1 year. Post-test given at the time of monitoring. Data analysis is done using the techniques of quantitative analysis, Mann Whitney statistics and qualitatively by using observation and interview data from the monitoring results. The results showed no difference in perception of self and work motivation among Post 1-Pretest with Post 2-Pretest and Post2-Pretest with Post 2-Post1. There is no difference between the Post 1-Pretest with Post 2- Pretest and Post 1 – Post 2 with Pretes – Post significantly for the variable of Self-esteem. Furthermore there was no difference between group of experiment and group.of control on Pretest-Post 2 for the variables of self-perception, self-esteem, work motivation.
