UGM Psychology Has New Vice Deans

The official position handover and acceptance ceremony from UGM Psychology’s Vice Deans of the 2012-2016 period to the elected Vice Deans for the 2016 to 2021 period has been done on Monday (12/5), around three months from the Dean’s own official position handover and acceptance ceremony. Held in the G-100 Auditorium, the ceremony lasted for two hours. Among its attendees were lecturers, academic staff, student representatives, and organizers of Kapsigama, POTMAPSI, and Dharma Wanita. The ceremony started with singing Indonesia Raya and Hymne Gadjah Mada, followed by the reading of the decree by Head of Administration Office.

Interestingly, in this period of 2016 – 2021, all three of the Vice Deans are females. They will accompany the Dean of UGM’s Faculty of Psychology, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A. Here are the three Vice-Deans:

  1. Dr. Nida Ul Hasanat, M.Si. as the Vice Dean of Academics and Student Affairs, succeeding Prof. Dr. Amitya Kumara, M.S.
  2. Prof. Kwartarini Wahyu Yuniarti, M.MED.Sc., Ph.D. as the Vice Dean of Research, Community Service, and Collaboration, succeeding Prof. Drs. Subandi, M.A., Ph.D.
  3. Dr. Avin Fadilla Helmi, M.Si. as Vice Dean of Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, succeeding Dr. Rahmat Hidayat, M.Sc.

With the signing of the Record of Transfer and the submission of the End of Office Memorandum, the new vice deans are now officially inaugurated and can start their terms. The ceremony continued with greetings from the Dean and representatives of the vice deans from the last period and this period. Before the ceremony ended, the new Vice Deans were congratulated once again, and the preceding Vice Deans were thanked one last time for their service. Hopefully, the new Vice Deans can successfully work together with the Dean, students, and the whole faculty in developing an even better faculty. [Marsa]
