Wednesday (24/02), the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University held a graduation activity for the Undergraduate Psychology Study Program Period II Academic Year 2020/2021 consisting of Regular Class and International Class / International Undergraduate Program (IUP). In this period, the Undergraduate Psychology Study Program of the Faculty of Psychology UGM has 43 graduates consisting of 39 regular class graduates and 4 international class graduates (International Undergraduate Program / IUP).
In the regular undergraduate study program, Tsabita Alya Fadilla Wijaya achieved the highest grade point average with a GPA of 3.86 while also earning the cum laude predicate. Apart from Tsabita, there were 19 other students who also won the cum laude predicate. Meanwhile, the fastest study period was achieved by Siti Afifa Choirunissah, namely 3 years 2 months 21 days.
For the international class / International Undergraduate Program (IUP), the highest Academic Achievement Index was achieved by Talitha Rucira Gati, namely 3.79 and also won the cum laude predicate. In addition, Talitha also achieved the fastest study period with a study period of 3 years 4 months 30 days. Talitha was also the representative of the graduates / graduates who gave a speech at this ceremony. Through her speech, Talitha hoped that the things that were passed by her friends while undergoing lectures would become beautiful memories that will be remembered.
The Faculty of Psychology UGM also gives awards to students who excel, both in academic activities and student activities. There are 24 students who excel in academic activities with the cum laude predicate, as well as 9 students, namely Siti Afifa Choirunissah, Felia Rachmila, Gina Azizahira, Claudia Zulfiana Putri, Haikal Ilham Adlan, Evelin Christy, and Tenya Ika Agnesia who excel in student activities
In this event, representatives of the graduates’ parents, Ir. Agus Hariyanto (Tenya Ika Agnesia’s parents) conveyed a message to the graduates in his speech that there are two things that must be maintained, attitude and professionalism that will keep themselves on the positive side even though capacity competition is so tight. Prabaswara Dewi, S.Psi., Psychologist., Chairman of the Gadjah Mada Psychology Alumni Family (KAPSIGAMA), in his remarks also advised the graduates that there is no word waiting in the process of self-development.
Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A., also conveyed a message to all graduates that the challenges after graduation are greater than normal conditions, but this is the beginning so that the graduates are forged into advanced, ready, and successful people.
