The perception survey of inequality conducted by the Indonesian Survey Institute in 2014 showed 40.6 percent of Indonesia’s revenue distribution is very unequal, 51 percent are not equal, 6 percent equal and 1 percent are very equal. From the survey, they believed that 20 percent of the wealthiest people mastered 38 percent of the total revenue or the equivalent of the 0.30 Gini index.
As a continuation of the seminar held on 16 and 17 July 2019, Faculty of Psychology UGM together with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held the national Conference of Postgraduate events from 18 to 19 July 2019. The conference held a theme, the Festival of ideas and trends in the direction of Psychology research in Indonesia. In this event the participants were about 30 people. This event committee facilitates participants to have the opportunity to discuss research topics, research methodology, and advanced data analysis along with faculty of psychology lecturers UGM in their respective fields.
The Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University organized a profession oath and release of Graduate School program on 24 July 2019. A number of graduates from the master Psychology Program as many as 13 psychologists with details of 2 men and 11 women. A number of graduates from Master of psychology as many as 9 scientists with details of 3 men and 6 women. Recently, the total graduate School of the Faculty of Psychology of Gadjah Mada University amounted to 2,833 people.
Essentially love is ideally needed for anyone who works. If the work performed has different characteristics in general from other work, one of them is TNI.
The task carried by the TNI soldiers was not an easy task but rather a task that demanded a great sacrifice. Because work as an army is a job that has a very high risk compared to other jobs.
Tuesday (16/07) the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) Faculty of Psychology UGM held a seminar with the theme of International Convention on Family Strengthening, taking the location in the building A-203 Faculty of Psychology UGM, the event took place smoothly. The event was attended by approximately 50 people who come from various circles such as practitioners, professionals, academics, NGO activists, and even to housewives. The event itself began the national Conference of Postgraduate events held one day later.
Tuesday (23/04), Faculty of Psychology UGM was held graduates debriefing. This event basically has been opened for non-graduates, however mostly has been dominated by candidates of graduates master. In this event, Heru Atikasari S, Murti, Psi., M.A as Alumnus Master of Psychology and also Lecturer at Kristen Satya Wacana University and Aloysia Endang S.S.S also Psychologist RSJD dr RM Soedjarwadi Klaten became a speaker. This event was attended by candidates graduates of Master Psychology and Master of Professional Psychology. About 50 graduates followed the agenda that was going start at 1 PM to 3 PM. then, prospective graduates were lead to attend in rehearsal of ceremony for tomorrow.
Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University held an international conference. This conference was titled The 10th International Conference on Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (ICICP). The conference lasted for 3 days which was 4 to 6 July 2019. The conference was livened up by speakers from various countries and universities, among others: Prof. Subandi from the Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University; Prof. Uichol Kim of Inha University, South Korea; Prof. Rosnah Ismail of Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences & UMS, Malaysia; Prof. Annamaria Di Fabio of the University of Florence, Italy; Prof. Donald H. Saklofske from the Department of Psychology University of Western Ontario, Canada; Prof. Saadi Lahlou from Social Psychology of Economic Life London School of Economics, UK; Dr. Satoko Kimpara from Palo Alto University, USA; Maxi Heitmayer, Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science; Prof. Akira Tsuda of the Department of Psychology Kurume University, Japan, and Plinio Fabiani which is the Director of Internal Medicine Unit, Versilia Hospital. The Conference’s agenda set includes special courses, workshops, parallel symposium, and keynote address. Even more than 100 participants with interesting research topics are involved in this event.
Friday (28/6) students of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, 2017 and 2018, held the opening of the “Empowering Leadership” event devoted to elementary school children. The student representative of 2017 and 2018, Dina Arifka, is also the chief executive of the event explaining that this event is one of the nuances programs of Faculty of Psychology UGM.
Tuesday (2/4), Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held Research and Publication Day. This event was follow up representation from research grant proposal submission Kelompok bidang Keilmuan (KBK), Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM), and Faculty Unit of Psychology in 2019. There is about 27 research approved.
Aliffa Milanisty, an undergraduate student of psychology second semester has won a bronze medal in karate competition. The competition namely Rimbawan Karate – do championship held on 28-29 March 2019. This competition will be going to Manggal Wanabhakti hall Jakarta. The committee in this competition was FORKI (Federasi Olahraga Karate Indonesia) as an alliance sports organization in self-defense karate in Indonesia.
