Abstract
This study is aimed to analyze the effectively of creative teaching strategies. This strategy effective for senior high school, but it’s effectively for under graduate students was not proven yet. The subject of this study (N=58) are under graduate students in Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University, whose age ranged from 20 to 21 years old. Quasi experiment with pre-test and post-test design used in this study. This design choosed because researcher did not randomized subjects while choose them, and researcher also become person who conduct creative teaching strategies. This strategies must be conducted in lecture session, not in special setting with specific subjects. Creativity was measured by creativity test. This test meets construct validity and has alpha reliability 0.80. Data was analyzed using repeated-measures t-test. Test of within subjects effects show F = 17.986. F table for df = 1 and df error = 57 at significance level 5 % is 4.01. F measured higher than F table. This means there is difference creativity score between pre-test and post-test. Research hypothesis accepted. Creative teaching strategies proof effective to improve creativity of under graduate students.
