The series of events of the Intensive Course on the Development of Advanced Research in the Field of Science continued Tuesday (5/4) by discussing the field of specialization in Educational Psychology. The discussion on the area of specialization this time was attended by more speakers than in the previous sessions.

Still in the series of the Intensive Course for the Development of Advanced Research in the Field of Science, the Doctoral Study Program in Psychology together with the Expertise Group of the Faculty of Psychology UGM resumed the event on Monday (4/4). The areas of specialization in Mental, Neural, and Behavioral are the opening specialization areas in the second half by inviting speakers who have their respective focus of discussion.
Closing the first half of the series of Advanced Research Development Intensive Courses, a discussion related to the Field of Clinical Psychology was held on Thursday (31/3). This activity was attended by three capable speakers on their respective topics, and the Latest Development of Research in the Field of Clinical Psychology started at 08.00 online.
The big topic that was brought up on the second day of Wednesday (30/3) was the field of specialization in Social Psychology by presenting various speakers who were experts in their fields. Starting at 08.00 online, the first session of this event was started by the presentation of material from Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A with the topic “Social Psychological Research related to the Pandemic”. The current pandemic, COVID-19 is a pandemic that has never happened before, is contagious, the victims continue to grow, and there is no cure. The impact of the pandemic is not only on health, but also on social, economic, and psychological impacts that will provide changes in the present and in the future.
As an effort to develop science, especially psychology, the Doctoral Study Program in Psychology together with the Expertise Group of the Faculty of Psychology UGM held the “Intensive Course on the Development of Advanced Research in the Field of Science”. The activity was held for several days, starting from 29-31 March 2022 and 4-7 April 2022. Held online, the organization of this activity was divided into fields of specialization in Psychology. The first day on March 29, 2022, was opened with a Specialization in Developmental Psychology and closed on April 7, 2022, with a Specialization in Psychometrics.
Friday (25/3) Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) Faculty of Psychology UGM held an Online Lecture which is a routine program every two weeks. Online lectures are held to provide mental health literacy to the public. This is done so that there is no misunderstanding and creates a stigma during the outbreak of mental health issues in the community.
Thursday (17/3) Center for Life-span Development (CLSD) Faculty of Psychology held an international webinar with the topic “Hearing Care Across the Lifespan and Education: Malaysia and Indonesia Perspectives. This webinar event was organized by 3 well-known universities, namely Universitas Gadjah Mada, Sultan Idris Education Universiti, and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
On Monday (14/03), the Centre for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an online lecture with the topic “Self-Care and Healing”. The topic was delivered by psychologists who have often filled CPMH online lectures, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. The event, which was attended by various groups who have an interest in the topic of mental health discussions, began with a discussion on mental health.
Central for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture “Being a Psychological First Aid: Concepts and Practice” which consisted of two sessions on 11 and 25 February 2022. Present as the same speaker in the first two sessions, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Online lectures have actually raised this topic for the umpteenth time (Psychological First Aid) and why we brought this topic up again because it can embrace many partners and the wider community,” said Nurul at the beginning of the event.
Wednesday (23/02) Faculty of Psychology Universitas Gadjah Mada held the Release of Period II Graduates/Graduates of the Academic Year 2021/2022 for the Undergraduate Program and the International Undergraduate Program. This event was attended by 43 undergraduate students and 4 students from the International Undergraduate Program, so the total number of graduates for the period II Academic Year 2021/2022 was 47 students.
