Maria Gracia Amara Pawitra, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog, is a professional in clinical and forensic psychology with an educational background from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her scholarly interests focus on forensic psychology, restorative justice, the death penalty, and the reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals into society.
In her professional career, Gracia has been actively involved as a clinical-forensic psychologist in several institutions, including the Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association, Polda Metro Jaya, the National Counterterrorism Agency, and Kerobokan Correctional Facility in Denpasar. She also contributes to the field of education as an adjunct lecturer and guest lecturer, and founded the Forensic Psychology Educational Platform Indonesia (@forenpsy.id) as a public education platform on forensic psychology. Her combination of clinical practice, academic engagement, and science communication reflects her commitment to advancing forensic psychology that is research-based, ethically grounded, and responsive to the needs of Indonesian society.
