Titian Foundation invites high copetent professional to join and work  in Teacher Quality Improvement (TQI) Program as:
1. Program Manager
2. Junior Trainer
3. School Facilitator

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Program Manager

  • Establish overall plan of TQI program implementation
  • Coordinate with all related parties concerning the TQI implementation
  • Lead, monitor, and evaluate the execution of TQI program implementation and take necessary decision/action to ensure the effectiveness of program

2. Junior Trainer

  • Work together with other functions (other trainers, facilitators) within the program to ensure the training objectives are achieved.
  • Manage 2 ways communication with related beneficiaries.
  • Support TQI program coordinator on any specific issues (TQI module development, school assistance, etc.)

3. School Facilitator

  • Work together with other functions (other trainers, facilitators) within the program to ensure the training objectives are achieved.
  • Manage 2 ways communication with related beneficiaries.

Qualification
1. Program Manager

  • 3-5 years working experience on the same field in NGOs focusing on education
  • Graduated from post graduate program of psychology (Magister Profesi Klinis, Magister Profesi Pendidikan)
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, planning and the development of policies and procedures
  • Experience in motivating staff and working effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Possess a broad spectrum of interpersonal and communications skills, including excellent written and spoken English, in cross-cultural/international settings
  • Competency in computer skills with adequate knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook where relevant to the position
  • Excellent command of English, written and soken
  • Proven ability for accuracy under pressure and adherence to deadlines

2. Junior Trainer

  • Working experience on the area of traning and/or module development
  • Proficient in English both writing and speaking
  • Graduated from post graduate program of psychology (Magister Profesi Klinis, Magister Profesi Pendidikan)

3. School Facilitator

  • Graduated from under graduate program of psychology majoring in education psychology, or teacher training institute (ilmu pendidikan).
  • Competency in computer skills with adequate knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook where relevant to the position
  • having experience or interest on the area of teacher traning and education development

Titian Foundation was established by Lily Kasoem in 2006. Titian is a professionally managed voluntary organisation that focuses on helping the less fortunate Indonesians through the improvement of their education, knowledge and skills. Partnering with NGO’s governments, multinationals and local companies, Titian provides long-term sustainable support in communities which have been struck by poverty, disaster or conflict. Its involvement is to provide the tools for ongoing stability and self sufficiency. Titian Foundation is governed by a Board of Officers on pro bono basis.

Teachers Quality Improvement (TQI) is one of Titian Foundation’s programs in a form of training and has been conducted since 2008. The programme was entitled ‘Excellence in Teaching and Learning’ (ETL). Now, this programme has been elaborated into a more comprehensive modul to enhance the teacher’s quality. Working together with the Ministry of Education, Titian has developed an accredited training module.
