Riangga Novrianto, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog

Riangga Novrianto, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Riau) in 2018. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Professional Psychology (Clinical Psychology – Adult) at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia (UI), which he completed in 2022. Following his graduation, Riangga worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Researcher at the Indonesian Psychological Healthcare Center (IndoPsyCare), where he was involved in both psychological services and research activities. In 2024, he joined the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) as an academic staff member. Currently, Riangga is pursuing his PhD at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany.

Alongside his professional practice as a psychologist, Riangga is actively engaged in research as part of his commitment to the clinician-scientist model. He believes that clinical psychologists should be actively involved in research to ensure that psychological practice remains grounded in scientific evidence and continues to improve treatment outcomes for clients, while also contributing to the advancement of psychological science through scholarly publications. His research interests focus on psychopathology, particularly obsessive–compulsive and related disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychosis.
