Lavenda Geshica, S.Psi., M.A., is an academic in the field of Psychology. Currently, Lavenda Geshica, S.Psi., M.A., is pursuing a PhD in Mental Health at the University of Glasgow. During her doctoral studies, she is actively involved as a member of the Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory (SBRL) at the University of Glasgow. Additionally, she actively participates in training related to suicide prevention, such as Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and SafeTALK.
Lavenda Geshica, S. Psi., M.A., obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia. Her thesis was awarded the best thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia’s 2017 Judicium. She then continued her education in the master’s programme at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, with a major in Applied Psychometrics and a minor in Clinical Psychology. At that time, she received an award for graduating with the highest grade point average (GPA) in the master’s Programme in Psychology.
Lavenda Geshica, S.Psi., M.A.’s expertise encompasses various fields within Psychology, such as applied psychometrics and clinical psychology. Her research interests include the Development of Clinical Measurement Tools, Suicide and Life-Threatening Behaviour, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Psychopathology, Existential Psychology, Personality Psychology, Lived Experience Involvement in Clinical Research, Quantitative Research, and Qualitative Research.
Lavenda Geshica, S.Psi., M.A., teaches several important courses related to her field, including Theory and Application of Psychological Measurement, Non-Projective Personality Assessment, Statistics, Quantitative Research Methods, Mental Disorders, and General Psychology.
