Online Workshop: Research Ethics in Mental Health Research

On Wednesday (12/1), the Doctoral Program in Psychology UGM held a second day Research Ethics Series with Dr. Diana Setiyawati, M.HSc., Psy., Psychologist and Aliza Hun from Australia National University. The event began with a speech delivered by the Head of the UGM Psychology Doctoral Study Program, Edilburga Wulan Saptandari, S.Psi., M.Psi., Ph.D Psychologist. “Thank you also to the ladies and gentlemen who were present, both doctoral students and friends from various places and various institutions. Today is the second day of the Research Ethics Series, yesterday we discussed research ethics in general and tomorrow there will be once more webinar session,” said Edilburga through his speech. read more

Integrity and Research Ethics Involving Humans

The Doctor of Psychology Program together with the Ethics Commission of the Faculty of Psychology held a Research Ethics Seminar on Tuesday (11/01). The seminar was divided into two sessions with two different speakers. For the first session, Prof. Dra. RA Yayi Suryo Prabandari, M.Sc., Ph.D who delivered material on “Integrity and Research Ethics Involving Humans”. The seminar for the first session starts at 11.00 WIB and is held online via Zoom. read more

Ethical Considerations in Psychological Research

The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Psychology together with the UGM Psychology Doctoral Program held a Research Ethics Seminar on Tuesday (11/1). The seminar was divided into two sessions with two different speakers. For the first session. Present Prof. Dra. RA Yayi Suryo Prabandari, while in the second session as a speaker, Dra. Sri Kusrohmaniah, M.Sc., Ph.D Psychologist with the topic “Ethical Considerations in Psychological Research”. “I will give a discussion about the introduction and why it is necessary to study ethics in psychological research,” explained Kusrohmaniah at the beginning of the material. read more

This event is the third day of a series of psychology week events to celebrate the Dies Natalis of the Faculty of Psychology UGM. CPMH’s Lecture Online: Sexual Grooming Alert

The Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held the last online lecture session in 2021 with the topic “Sexual Grooming Alert”. This time the topic was delivered by Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anis, M.Psi., Psychologist. “Before we know much about sexual grooming, actually grooming has a positive meaning, namely preparing so that the results will be more prepared or better,” said Nurul at the beginning of the session. read more

Indonesia’s Mental Health Policy Direction

Wednesday (22/12) UGM Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) in collaboration with the Yayasan Kemitraan Indonesia Sehat (YKIS) held a mental health webinar with the title “Indonesia’s Mental Policy Direction”. This event discusses the policy journey that has been taken by the Indonesian government to ensure the mental health of the community. This event also discussed how the implementation of the policy in the field from various perspectives. read more

CPMH’s Online Lecture: Loneliness and Mental Health

Friday (17/12) Faculty of Psychology UGM in collaboration with the Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) held an Online Lecture with the topic “Loneliness and Mental Health”. The topic was brought up by two resource persons who have often filled CPMH Online Lectures, namely Nurul Kusuma Hidayati, M.Psi., Psychologist and Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., Psychologist. “The theme has actually been discussed by many parties, especially when we surf on Instagram,” said Nurul at the beginning of the event. read more
