Human Resource Quality Improvement Institute (UPKM) Faculty of Psychology Gadjah Mada University held the fifth Post COVID Quality of Work Life Seminar Series online, on Saturday, September 12, 2020 trough Zoom Meeting and also broadcasted live from UPKM Psikologi UGM Youtube channel. It was attended by 95 participants from varied background, which are private and public institutions, UGM students and partners.
In order to welcoming lectures that will begin for the postgraduate level on September 14, Master of Professional Psychology Program Faculty of Psychology UGM held Academic Orientation for New Students of Master of Professional Psychology Program Batch XVII-2020 for two weeks which start on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 to Friday, September 11, 2020.
Psychological Science Program of Faculty of Psychology UGM held Academic Orientation for New Students of Master of Psychological Science Program, Class of 2020/2021 from September 7-11, 2020. This event aim to provide new students about basic knowledge in order to face the upcoming lectures. However this period orientation was held online.
(11/9) Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychology Program held a Two-Week Colloquium (KDM) via Zoom Meeting and also broadcasted on Doktorpsi UGM Youtube channel.
The event started with opening speech from Mr. Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of Doctor of Psychological Science Program. He also welcoming the new doctoral students class of 2020. Afterwards, the event continued with the main session, which is presentation and discussion with the speakers.
(10/9) Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH) Faculty of Psychology UGM lauch Suicide First Aid Guideline for Indonesians online. The event was attended by approximately 590 participants who join from WEBEX and also from live stream in CPMH Psi UGM Youtube channel.
Friday (11/9), Successful Learners Training – Psikologi Rumah Kita 2020, officially opened by the Dean of Faculty of Psychology UGM, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A. This orientation event for new students was held online for the first time considering the COVID-19 pandemic.
Master of Psychological Science Program held an online opening lecture for this new semester with inclusive education topic on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 1.00 – 3.00 PM. This event is series of orientation activities for Master of Psychological Science students year of 2020/2021. So this session was attended by them and also Master of Professional Psychology and Doctoral students.
Various options and possibilities in choosing career in psychology can sometimes be a factor that plays role in determining career choices. According to that, Pengen Ngobrol raised a topic about career insights in the field of clinical psychology. This event is the third event collaboration with Faculty of Psychology and Office of Cooperation, International Affairs and Alumni (OCIA) Faculty of Psychology UGM which raised a topic “The Journey and Career in Clinical Psychology” and held on Saturday, Septmeber 5, 2020 at 3.00 – 5.00 PM via Zoom Meeting and also broadcasted live on Kanal Pengetahuan Fakultas Psikologi Univesitas Gadjah Mada Youtube Channel.
Friday (4/9), Master of Psychological Science Program held online sharing session in order to answer the inform the students who doing their thesis or plan to do their thesis in the near future about the alternative in doing psychological research during Covid-19 pandemic. The event was organized by Psychological Students Association of Faculty of Psychology UGM. The topic was about The Use of Secondary Data, Social Media Big Data and Online Experiments.
Friday (28/8), Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) held a CICP Talks with “Doing Your Research During Pandemic: The Trends and Challenges” as the topic. CICP Talks aims to disseminate research methods that can be carried out during a pandemic, both in qualitative and quantitative approaches. This activity is free and open to the public using the online platform, Zoom Meeting.
