Faculty of Psychology Yielded 52 Undergraduate

Wednesday (25/11) Faculty of Psycholgy Gadjah Mada University once again held online graduation ceremony for undergraduate, Period I 2020/2021 Academic Year. This event was attended by 52 graduates that consist of 46 students from undergraduate psychology program and 6 students from international undergraduate program. They are attending the graduation ceremony accompanied by their parents. read more

Ciptasari Prabawanti Ph.D, who currently a Rector of Cokroaminoto University Yogyakarta and is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology at Ahmad Dahlan University, had the opportunity to become the guest speaker at the KDM. read more

Social Psychology Perspective on Understanding COVID-19

(6/11) Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology UGM held online webinar at 1.00 – 3.00 PM.

The event was divided into 3 sessions. The first session was addressed about Social Perception of Covid 19 Pandemic: Continuities and Changes, delivered by Dr. Wenty Marina Minza, S.Psi., M.A., lecturer in Faculty of Psychology UGM. She conveyed about the importance of understanding social perceptions to understand the pandemic in Indonesia. In particular, the that concepts used to understand the public’s perception are how they percieved risk and their optimism. Furthermore, the session also discuss about collective culture and also the positive and negative sides of percieving the current pandemic. read more
