Wednesday (25/11) Faculty of Psycholgy Gadjah Mada University once again held online graduation ceremony for undergraduate, Period I 2020/2021 Academic Year. This event was attended by 52 graduates that consist of 46 students from undergraduate psychology program and 6 students from international undergraduate program. They are attending the graduation ceremony accompanied by their parents.

Promovendus Club (PC) from Doctor of Psychology Program once again held online Two-Week Colloquium (KDM) on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Ciptasari Prabawanti Ph.D, who currently a Rector of Cokroaminoto University Yogyakarta and is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology at Ahmad Dahlan University, had the opportunity to become the guest speaker at the KDM.
Faculty of Psychology UGM held the seventh International Guest Lecture Series on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1.30 – 3.00 PM online via Zoom Meeting. The event was attended by 95 participants. They are mostly students followed by lecturers and general public.
(13/11) Faculty of Psychology UGM organized sixth International Guest Lecture Series that raised a topic about Hallucination on Demand: Using Lab-Induced Hallucinations and Illusions to Study Visual Hallucinations.
Friday (6/11), fifth episode of International Guest Lecture Series (IGLS) was held and inviting Xie Huichao, Ph.D, lecturer at the National Institute of Education Singapore as the speaker. There are total of 51 who join this event online.
(7/11) The role of psychological science in technological field now becoming broader. It contribute in the tech industry or generally better known as start-up. The tech industry is a business sector that utilizes technology and information and produces digital products to digital services. According to this phenomenon, Pengen Ngobrol Episode 6 raised topic about Human Centered-Approach in Tech Industry.
(6/11) Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) Faculty of Psychology UGM held online webinar at 1.00 – 3.00 PM.
The event was divided into 3 sessions. The first session was addressed about Social Perception of Covid 19 Pandemic: Continuities and Changes, delivered by Dr. Wenty Marina Minza, S.Psi., M.A., lecturer in Faculty of Psychology UGM. She conveyed about the importance of understanding social perceptions to understand the pandemic in Indonesia. In particular, the that concepts used to understand the public’s perception are how they percieved risk and their optimism. Furthermore, the session also discuss about collective culture and also the positive and negative sides of percieving the current pandemic.

Hypnotic Guided Imagery (HGI) is not a new topic, but the presence of HGI in the scientific field is often debated. This point of view encourages Prof. Kwartarini Wahyu Yuniarti, M.Med.Sc, Ph.D., a researcher and lecturer at Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University to research and study HGI scientifically.
