Latest Developments in Psychometric Research

The UGM Psychology Doctoral Program for five days (22-26 / 03) held an Intensive Course “Latest Developments in Psychometric Research”. The event which was attended by 89 participants was opened by Rahmat Hidayat, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D as the Head of the Psychological Science Doctoral Study Program. Through his remarks, Rahmat said that the presence of participants from various educational and institutional backgrounds is expected to generate an exchange of thoughts, inspiration, insights and knowledge. read more

Technology in Training: Data Processing with Jamovi, an Alternative to Replace SPSS #2

The Technology in Training which was held a week ago by the Learning Technology Development Unit (UPTB) of the Faculty of Psychology UGM was resumed on Friday (12/3) with the same theme, namely “Data Processing with Jamovi: An Alternative to SPSS” and filled with Wahyu Jati Anggoro. , S.Psi., MA. This event was held at 13.00 WIB and opened with a discussion of descriptive statistics. “If we talk about descriptive statistics, yes, one of which is that we report the mean, median, standard deviation, minimum value, maximum value, and usually the report is displayed before we report the hypothesis test,” said Wahyu. read more

Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI)

Friday (12/3) Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH), Faculty of Psychology UGM held an Online Lecture with the topic “Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI)”. Previously, this material was delivered through WhatsApp Lecture (KulWap) which was then brought back through this event because there were more and more cases in the field related to NSSI. “So, we from CPMH want to raise it again, we open space for sharing and space for discussion, that’s about it”, said Wirdatul Anisa, M.Psi., A psychologist., As one of the speakers in this online lecture. Recent Developments in Clinical Psychology Research

Together with the Clinical Psychology Expertise Group, the Psychology Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Psychology UGM held an intensive course entitled “Recent Developments in Clinical Psychology Research” which lasted for 3 days, starting from Monday-Wednesday (8-10 / 3). Some of the topics raised in this event included “Current Issues in Diagnosis”, “Personality Disorders & Neuropsychology”, “Prevention & Early Detection for Psychosis”, “From Transpersonal Psychology to Clinical Hypnosis”, “Current Research in Depression, Self Harm & Suicide “,” Current Issues in Health Psychology “, and” Advocacy in Mental Health System Development “which were discussed by 15 competent speakers in clinical psychology research.
