Indrayanti, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog is an industrial and organizational psychologist, senior researcher at the Center for Public Mental Health at the Faculty of Psychology UGM, and a mental health activist in the workplace. She served five times as the Head of the Human Quality Development Unit at the Faculty of Psychology, UGM. Currently, Indrayanti is part of the Task Force Team of the Subdirectorate for Character Development and the Subdirectorate for Student Creativity at Universitas Gadjah Mada. She have a concern for realizing mental health in the academic work environment where she work and serve as a Civil Servant in the Republic of Indonesia. Psychological first aid has become one of her concerns and is very important in the educational world for students and the entire academic community. A healthy mental environment is the right of every citizen, so as public servants, there is a responsibility to help realize this in the academic world they currently serve. Indrayanti completed her doctoral education at Nottingham Business School, England, with a focus on Work & Organizational Psychology. Previously, Indrayanti obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.

Ardian Praptomojati, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog

Research Interests

Positive psychology, counseling and psychotherapy, global mental health, and e-mental health.

Ardian Praptomojati, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, is an expert in the fields of Clinical Psychology and Developmental Psychology. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Professional Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Currently, Ardian is pursuing a PhD at the University of Groningen, Netherlands.

In the academic world, Ardian has research interests focused on Positive Psychology, Counseling and Psychotherapy, Global Mental Health, and E-Mental Health. In addition to being active in research, he also teaches several important courses such as Mental Disorders, Personality Theory, Basic Assessment, Psychodiagnostics, and Psychological Counseling.

Prof. Erminia Colucci, Ph.D.

Research Interests

Human rights, mental health, suicide prevention, and domestic violence.

Prof. Erminia Colucci is a Professor of Visual Psychology and Global & Cultural Mental Health in the Department of Psychology at Middlesex University London, as well as an Affiliate Professor at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia. She is known for her contributions to research on human rights, mental health, suicide prevention, and domestic violence. Professor Erminia’s research focuses on the direct experiences of individuals with mental disorders and suicidal behavior, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, among ethnic minority groups, and refugees.

Prof. Erminia integrates art-based and visual methodologies in research and teaching, including participatory visual methods and ethnographic documentary film. This innovative approach has influenced mental health policies and practices in various countries, including Indonesia. Prof. Erminia is the founder of Movie-ment and Aperture, as well as the Co-Chair of the World Association of Cultural Psychiatry SIG in the fields of Arts, Mental Health, and Human Rights.

Prof. Erminia has been appointed as an Affiliate Professor at Gadjah Mada University based on her significant contributions to the development and implementation of mental health policies in Indonesia. Her expertise in using visual methodologies to address mental health and human rights issues, along with her active involvement in community-based projects in Indonesia, makes her a valuable strategic partner in enhancing the quality of research and teaching at UGM.

Ariana Marastuti, S.Psi., MSW

Research Interests

Ariana Marastuti, S.Psi., MSW, is an academic and dedicated professional in the fields of clinical psychology and social relations. As a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) since 2010, Ariana not only teaches but is also actively involved in various research and community service focused on mental health, mental health literacy, community health workers, and gender and mental health.

Ariana completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Universitas Gadjah Mada. She then pursued her Master’s degree in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, Brown School of Social Work. With a strong educational background, Ariana developed a deep research interest in mental health and gender issues.

As a lecturer, Ariana teaches several important courses, including Mental Health, Psychology and Gender, Community Psychoeducation, and Community Empowerment. These courses reflect her commitment to enhancing understanding and awareness of the importance of mental health in a broader social context.

Ariana actively participates in various international conferences to expand her network and share knowledge. In October 2017, Ariana attended the European Conference on Mental Health in Berlin. The following year, in May 2018, she participated in a Scientific Manuscript Workshop organized by Harvard Medical School in Dubai. Subsequently, Ariana attended the European Conference on Mental Health in Croatia in October 2018. Then in April 2019, she joined the Himpsi Scientific Meeting event.

Before becoming a lecturer, Ariana had a rich professional experience in the fields of women’s rights and mental health. She served as the Executive Director at the Women’s Human Rights Institute (IHAP) from 2010 to 2011 and previously as the Research and Study Unit Coordinator at IHAP from 2005 to 2007. Her experience also includes roles as Campaign Coordinator at the Center for Human Rights Studies (Pusham UII) from 2003 to 2005 and as a volunteer at the Institute for Development and Economic Analysis (IDEA) from 1999 to 2001.

Aliyaturrahmah Supriyadi, S.Psi., MHS., a professional in the field of psychology, continues to actively contribute to the world of academics and research. Aliya graduated from the Bachelor Program at the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) with the thesis title Validation of the Basic Counseling Skills Training Module to Increase the Self-Efficacy of Adolescent Peer Counselors. Then she continued his Masters education at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University with the research title Association between adolescents’ perceived school support and depressive symptoms in three Indonesian cities (An analysis based on the Global Early Adolescents Survey data).

Throughout her journey, Aliyaturrahmah has developed various research and projects aimed at improving the quality of mental health in Indonesia. Her commitment in this field is realized through various seminars, training and in-depth scientific publications.

Aisha Sekar Lazuardini Rachmanie, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog is a professional in the field of Clinical Psychology. She completed his Bachelor of Psychology (S1) education at the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University with the thesis title The Role of Friendship Quality on Stress Levels with Loneliness Mediator, then continued her Masters in Professional Psychology (S2) at the same institution with the thesis title Validation of the Mindful Self-Compassion-based Module online to increase Flourishing in Adolescent Girls. Fuad Hamsyah, S.Psi., M.Sc.

Mental Health, Occupational Health Psychology.

Fuad Hamsyah is currently pursuing doctoral studies (S3) in Psychology at Keio University, Japan. This doctoral study uses a full scholarship from Keio University which is intended for international researchers in Asia. Previously, in 2014, he earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in International Health from the Charite Universitätsmedizin, Medical school of Humboldt Universität and Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany, using a full scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). In 2011, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (S.Psi) from the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Topics related to mental health in general to more specifically occupational mental health (occupational health psychology) are of interest in teaching and scientific development. This is also demonstrated by the courses he teaches and his latest research which has also been published in several journals.

Idei Khurnia Swasti, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog studied undergraduate at the Faculty of Psychology UGM then continued studying Masters in Professional Psychology in the field of Clinical Psychology at the same university. Currently studying for a doctorate at the University of Leeds. Idei’s scientific focus is Clinical Psychology and Social Relations. She has extensively researched clinical psychology, personal development, and family and marriage counseling. Idei teaches several undergraduate study program courses including Mental Disorders, Communication Psychology, Projective Personality Assessment, Group Counseling, Intelligence Assessment, and advanced courses related to assessment and counseling. In the Master’s study program, Idei teaches courses related to basic professions, such as Observation and Interview Practice, Psychodiagnostic Practice, and Intervention Practice, major professions such as Clinical Assessment, Dynamics of Clinical Psychopathology, and Clinical Intervention.

Riangga Novrianto, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Riau) in 2018. After that, in 2020 Riangga continued his Master’s degree in Professional Psychology in the field of Psychology. Adult Clinical at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia (UI) which will be completed in 2022. After graduating, Riangga was active as a Clinical Psychologist and Researcher at the Indonesian Psychological Healthcare Center (IndoPsyCare).

Apart from practicing as a psychologist, Riangga is also active in conducting research as a form of implementing principles as a clinician-scientist. Riangga views clinical psychologists as needing to actively conduct research in order to provide the best outcomes for clients (in the form of psychological treatment) and science (in the form of scientific publications). Rianga’s research interests are related to Psychopathology — especially Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders and Anxiety Disorders.

Satwika Rahapsari, S.Psi, M.A., R-DMT is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Department of Psychology, University of Sheffield, England. Satwika researches the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on neurocognitive development, especially cognitive control, and individual mental health.

Previously, Satwika completed her undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University in 2006. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she continued her education at the Creative Arts Therapies Department, Drexel University in Philadelphia, United States, and received a Master of Arts degree in Dance/Movement Therapy. and Counseling in 2017.

In terms of counseling and psychotherapy, Satwika has research interests with a focus on creative arts therapy. As a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT), Satwika is highly dedicated to developing innovative therapy methods, which combine movement and art to support her clients’ mental well-being. Apart from that, Satwika also researches the benefits and links of traditional arts, such as Bedhaya Dance, as a means of art therapy.

Satwika also has research interests in the fields of clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience. His expertise includes neuroimaging, especially electroencephalography (EEG) and experimental psychology. Apart from that, Satwika also masters systematic-review, meta-analysis and structural equation modeling research methods.

In the field of teaching, the courses she has taught include Biopsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Mental Disorders, and Art Psychology.
